At first I didn't think the body was that bad - bit of a filled wheel arch with mismatched paint, odd rust scab here and there, the same as most cosmetically-challenged-but-solid Couriers, might need a tickle with a welder every year but otherwise ok. Then I realised that every aspect of it was completely and utterly fucked. Still, it started easily and the engine sounds healthy lol.
Cannot believe how good the engine sounds. What a shame it's beyond repair in regards to the rust though. I couldn't believe when the axle popped out 🤣🤣
@@MrSupercar55 thing has 372k kms and started up like nothing after sitting for 6 years, if you are talking about new vehicles that ford makes then you can say that about any other company that makes cars
Lanice Goodin it's a diesel, it says diesel right across the valve cover if you pause the video at 1:26, you'll be able to see it. Also there's no spark plugd or wires just a hard steel lines from the injection pump up to eat diesel injector.
Never mind the diesels I had a 998cc that did 175 thousand miles. I deeply regret trading it in it was so easy to work on. If I had the welding skills I have now it would have run for ever.
Be honest with you this guy have experience in the field automotive technician it's comes used vehicle sitting there long time awesome video keep up the good work friend bless you
in 1992 the company i was workin' 4 get a bunch of those Courier, but not with diesel, they had the 1.4 CVH engine. this car was so much underpowered, borin' 2 drive and had a big fuel consumption. on every rain water pours into the body at the roof and drains out at the bottom. thru the weld of the body u could see the street, and after 1.5 years rust was all around the car. no one of my colleagues includin' me want to drive this lanmower xD. greeting's from germany and thx 4 u'r vid's =)
Pristine lego pieces contrasting against the dead rusty background. I always get that Chernobyl amusement park feeling when i see those old rusted cars in a grassland scrapyard.
Fiesta Courier ,rare vans in their day ! The only good 1.8 engined were the ones with the Bosch fuel pump, self bled and a good battery 80 Ah or bigger if possible...
Got to admit that I didn't expect that crankshaft would even spin. I would recover the engine and gearbox for a project car and get rid of the rotten chassis
Andy the car nerd That 1.8d 44kw engine was quite bad, usually cam belt snapped early and powerless too. Not used on other European Fords for about 20 years. That bodywork is really biodegradable too, Fords were notorious for their lack of rust prevention.
+Andy the car nerd Motor could be sold to Africa where there are a lot of old cars on roads, but they use mostly old Japanese diesels, old Fords are rare even there. For less than 100 Euros which is likely the going price, it's kind of not worth the effort extracting the engine.
Never do that without preparing the car first. You need to flush the oil, flush the gas, clean out both of those reservoirs, refill with fresh, and go over everything else to make sure its all connected properly and that there's nothing living inside or jaming the components.
In case he wants to get it back on the road yeah? :) You forgot the cambelt, the Endura engines are notorious for cambelts failing every 40k miles or so.
Peter Lattimer True, they were pretty bad on the mk1 Mondeo and I think most people in the know recommended changing the belt every couple of years for peace of mind. The rest of the engine was strong though.
MrWolfSnack This Ofcourse but this guy does it for Yt clips, no one is going to take any of these cars on road, getting MOT for these rustbuckets is impossible.
Looks like the suspension mounting collapsed due to the rust, the abnormal movement of the front wheel where it moves backwards and up must have separated the driveshaft inner joint
At least the glass isn't rusty.
0-100 kmh acceleration test! Tesla: 1.9s, Fiesta: hold my beer.
😂😂
Paint was the only thing holding the body together.
😂😂
Lol true
I was expecting it to split into 2 pieces... But what happened was even more awesome.
Wow! Started up so easily, amazing!
7:29 when the speedometer gets confused and thinks it's a RPM counter.

90s Ford. Living up to its name.
Я думаю двигатель может пережить ещё один такой кузов!
You'd get another 10-20 years out of that in India
rjs198585 yea of cause u make anything last in India
And another 20 seats
You wouldn't get that long out of it in any country. It's a Ford. FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily
@@MrSupercar55 that's only for the rust, the engine, especially this Endura diesel is about the most reliable engine ever made

This is the rustiest working car I've seen in my life! And I've seen *a lot* of cars...
4:59 Oh well, nevermind...
I was thinking the same thing hahha
lol
i agree its rotten
Captain Woof Because this is a Ford!
Captain Woof 98888
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a vehicle that rusty before in my life
4:59
I have never seen something so simple yet so funny XD
I’m surprised it was even able to move. Never seen anything like that. Nothing but rust,
Gotta love a diesel, doesn't take much to make them run.
Looked like it was driving good until the axle fell out gotta hate that rust, lol
ARednecksLife it is not a diesel it is a 4-cylinder gas engine
Lanice Goodin it's a diesel, it says diesel right across the valve cover if you pause the video at 1:26, you'll be able to see it.
Also there's no spark plugd or wires just a hard steel lines from the injection pump up to eat diesel injector.
Can't you just tell that it is a diesel by its sound!?!
mibars I agree
Its a Endura D 1.8 60hp diesel engine
Typical 80's/90's European Fords! They love to rust, but their engines (Especially if diesel) will run forever!
The engine and gearbox is good for many years. You would get a bit of money for them.
the 1.8 diesel was horrible
unless it had a PSA TDCI engine
yeah, 1.8D XD
Never mind the diesels I had a 998cc that did 175 thousand miles. I deeply regret trading it in it was so easy to work on. If I had the welding skills I have now it would have run for ever.
I miss my 1989 old Ford Orion diesel, although this video reminds why I shouldn't. Thanks for an another interesting apocalyptic post.
This is the most rotten car I've ever seen.WOW!
Mihai Gradin believe me, up north it's much worse.
Mihai Gradin were have u been! my dad's tractors are way more rotten
Nah my daily car is much rustyier
Și cred că esti romăn
That thing would pass an MOT test in Russia.
yep! можно даже не показывать. Онлайн ТО сделают "по звоночку"!
easily
4:59 Who said that you can't crash into yourself? :P
Be honest with you this guy have experience in the field automotive technician it's comes used vehicle sitting there long time awesome video keep up the good work friend bless you
I wonder if in 50 years, after you dig the motor from under pile of rust would it still run?
i'd say yes :)
Ofcourse it will, its a 1.8 Endura Diesel
I doubt it!
Es al cuete es Ford!! pero no aceleres tanto q esas correas deben estar resecas.Uf!! le doblaste la chapa jaja!
Yes, of course
100 % rust, 0 % steel - technical death of an old Ford!

Just needs a bit of welding in the footwell's and it'll be fine.
lol - Its well rotten !
I can imagine that being very safe in an accident
you are an angel bruv!
giving life to ya cars

Very nice job!!!!👍👍😄😄
Beside a few rust traces its still in good shape!
Thats a lot of damage, flex tape!
just amazing, great engine the fiesta series. Have you been around salty streets a lot?
Watched for 2 minutes. Went to another video. I like commentary. No commentary. New video
The rustiest car I've seen in my life
Wish They sold those over here. You Guys got all the Cool Stuff.
good Quality for a Glöckner-Humbold-Deutz-Diesel (KHD) Only must changing the Toothed Belt and fresh Oel filling!
That should be pretty roadworthy...I'd imagine it'd pass an MOT no problem at all. Maybe a minor advisory on the rust.
RSBritain lmfao
A bit of jb weld it will be good as new
Such car wouldn't pass MOT anywhere in the Baltics and Central Europe
Pristine lego pieces contrasting against the dead rusty background.

Genuine bio - degradable Ford
Those old engines and gearboxes runs forever and is easy/fun to work on them. If they just could make the bodies better and safer
The only thing of value is the engine :) Great videos
The gauges is the cleanest part on the whole car lol!
Great engine
Easy, awesome engines
Very reliable engine.....👍👍
I love floor of car :DDDD
MAHABO Productions Crafty našel poslední video na světě, které neokomentoval👍🇨🇿
I don't know if you noticed so thought I'd mention it, you might wanna get your tie rod ends looked at 👍

Was that old Duplo bricks in the car :D?
runs like new :D
mmmmm crispy...only things salvageable are the engine, bumpers and headlights, dashboard, interior console, maybe wheels but thats it
and yeah the hood is good too

Holy hell ! That floor .... uh which floor ? :'D If the engine wont run you can always try to Fred Flintstone it :D
Дизель это вещь!
Survived the scrapage scheme!
Al menos espero tener un gran auto como este. Ojalá.. Dios me permita.
if you drove that thing over a bump it would probably just fall apart to bits
eninge would still run tough xD
that is one soft car!!
Wow, it started on the first try!
Bueno por algo se empieza. Like in the year 2020.
Since it’s nearly been 6 years since this video,it might be time to restart the rusty Fiesta Courier back into life
That one must have been crushed already
استمر يابطل
Shame the rest of the van is junk, because that engine sounds pretty damn good!
ah, the 1.8 endura diesel
Now let me figure out how to buy this sexy beast
Wow.. 6 years of sitting and it came to life! No wonder Euro Fords (especially the Diesels) won't die.
Mint condition!
Lol
God almighty those CV joints must have been made of pure rust.
will probably pass inspection!
looks like the shell was on the verge of splitting in half there! Not surprised it fired into life though, old ford diesel engines are strong engines.
it's just hilarious how much more better the engine is compared the rest of the vehicle 😀😂:-)
Didn't take much to get it started! Not bad Endura Diesels Good engines!
It looks like you have a farm of cars, and you just to wait till they get old, and then you make new video.
Never do that without preparing the car first. You need to flush the oil, flush the gas, clean out both of those reservoirs, refill with fresh, and go over everything else to make sure its all connected properly and that there's nothing living inside or jaming the components.

40k if you were lucky. when they were on 6k service intervals some didn't even make it to 36k!
MrWolfSnack bullshit, why do you need to do that? you are 2 days working for something your not sure will run... sorry im dutch
Well that van is crumbling away...🤣
When he was filming under the back van it sounded like old freezer
This why Ford is a short term car.
That car has seen a lot of winters.
I want to see his crash test :D
Are all these cars yours? :O What do you do with them after you like sorta revive them to life? :)
los motores ford son unos de los mejores
well, ford know how to make a good engine
Here in the u.k the m.o.t failure sheet for that thing would be several miles long!
up from brazil
Build Ford tough
the axle popped out? l00000000000000l
The driveshaft snapped.
Looks like the suspension mounting collapsed due to the rust, the abnormal movement of the front wheel where it moves backwards and up must have separated the driveshaft inner joint
aka CV joint.
Surprised it's starts still. So i guess it's now been scrapped or do you repair the old cars.?
I subscribe
Hahhhah, see oli paljutõotav, kuni pooltelg laiali läks. Aga nii mäda omal jõul liikuvat autot oli lõbus vaadata! :D
"Built ford tough", feel like I need a tetanus shot just watching this... :P
Nic3 lil rust bucket, i like it tho, very nice indeed
Poor Ford! Will you use the engine, it is really great
"It's Still good, It's still good...."
Crazy 😂
Ese motor es buenísimo
This is a statement as to why you do not leave a car to sit on a soil driveway. Complete rot boxes after 2-3 years.
what do you guys do with all these old cars? Besides starting them, that is
Flintstone car with holes in the floor :O
weld some plates in for new floor pans
7:37 VTEC kicks in xD
