I dare all the girls to take cool whip pies to the face and put the video on youtube!!
Some of them whisper to me. They want me to smoke them.
And the pothead question has been answered, from a slight different perspective ;)
😂 I love it.
Your body doesn't want you to.
That’s just your addict mind 😅
@@emmanuelweinman9673 whispering.. you haven’t heard it speak yet ;)
I love Neri's thoughts on connection with nature and timelines
A thousand podcasts from now, Lex will be describing how he came to clone Neri.
Come on now, Lex. Here’s the perfect woman for you! Go for it, bro. It’s now or never! You can do it. We’re all rooting for you!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
I was thinking the same thing! ❤
You 2 must be joking.... She's already married to a billionaire!
@@upfront2375 let’s see how long it lasts.
Omgoodness, you possess an intellect that is ever so alluring, beauty to match, and hypnotic vocalization with an ever so subtle accent. Thank you for being a light!
I love these interviews. I watched a program on Public television where scientist studying Great White Sharks near the Farallon Islands observed a shark that had been killed by Orca whales. After that event all the great white sharks in the area had disappeared. It was eventually surmised that the shark that had been killed had given off a chemical, or electrical impulse, and other sharks had sensed the chemical that was perceived as danger by other sharks. I don't remember if the shark intentionally released a chemical or if it was a responsive action, and sensed by other sharks. Anyway it is similar to grasses giving off molecular chemical that other grass plants detect. The natural world is more connected than we are aware of in our daily lives.
Such a touching conversation, Lex.🌹🌹🌹
I agree in order to understand appreciate plant's true nervous system capabilities and study them adequately, we as human have to be humble.
Am I the only one that kind of wants these two to get married?
At first I thought Lex was really bored listening to her… but it’s more that look of ‘I’m gonna nod my head and pretend I’m listening but secretly I’m picturing our life together’ hahaha
@@MLG85 🤣 I kind of thought he looked fascinated it what she was saying honestly.
She's already married...... and the guy is loaded.
@@dwight4k a perfect match
@@dwight4k no disrespect intended. It was more in theory. They have great chemistry, and would like to see her on the podcast again.
Amazing episode, I love this.
If you isolate yourself with a limited number of plants, depending on plant, you will communicate or they will die. I grow a lot of ginger and that root/plant/flowers are quite responsive to touch. I grow them in like 6 ft diameter patches…some patches are closer to me/radio in distance; they are healthier. Also when I water them and touch them (like a bath) vs just spraying; then they seem fuller/happier…it’s weird but soon you adapt to their rhythm, nature’s rhythm, not your own.
And they don’t argue with you🤔🤙🏼✌🏼😊
beautiful ! thank you
@@elise9537 not sure why…but you are welcome. 😊 have a great one!
A collective rhythm. Which already is what to all attune to in some ways. But life would be easier if we listen/fell all the rhythms that life presents.
Brings to mind "The Little Prince", burdened by his rose, yet the caring for her and memory of her reveals his love and desire to return. It's like the universal force of love expressed by Einstein in the letter to his daughter who inspired it.
Ah to crush your enemies and to smell the lamentations of their distressed green leaf volatiles!
Well shes lovely. The letter left out that that love first begins with yourself, and then you'll have the power to love in a way that facilitates change and growth in other organisms... quite a complex process to be put so simply by such a complex mind...
I wonder where her funding comes from for her projects? Also, how can you accurately predict how an artificially inseminated bee will behave in nature as opposed to in a laboratory?
well - she is married to a billionaire - he probably helps
@@75tram Yeah, you could be right about that. But how long was she married to a billionaire? I read a few articles that Epstein was involved with the funding but honestly who wouldn't take it if they needed it. I'm curious if she gives credit to Jacque Fresco and Buckminster Fuller because that is who I thought of while researching her work? My lawn told me not to trust MIT professors but a beautiful rose next door called me a freemartin and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Across the street a notorious bee hog Edelweiss told me my grass seeds were from China and the Rose was a foreigner. He told me to dig up my lawn and cut down the rose. I just walked in the house and thought I want the grass and the rose.
Human beings are not separate from nature, we are nature. And of course we talk with plants and animals.
Lex is The One
you have better and better content love it
Love this ..
I was cutting firewood the tree's kept screaming leaf me alone
Could be worse, could have barked.
A good Bellatrix Lestrange. :)
Lex bro, she's the one
So nice to see such a great conversation about my favourite Manga/Anime Trigun lol
This was a really interesting conversation, and very coherent even though not your run of the mill. You should bring more guests who aren’t so locked into western neo liberal rationalism. It’s refreshing
"It is important for the common good to foster individuality: for only the individual can produce the new ideas which the community needs for its continuous improvement and requirements-indeed, to avoid sterility and petrification." ~ Einstein
-From a message for a Ben Schemen dinner, March 1952; Einstein Archive 28-932;
On the topic of the natural world, (the universe being part of it..)
Q:
"Is the universe conscious?"
The universe certainly is active. I doubt that the universe is aware of its activity, but instead has been fine tuned to regulate itself. The same applies to nature. Left alone it is self regulating and in harmony with everything else.
In the book of Genesis it clearly states that we humans have been given the stewardship over everything on this planet earth.
One way or another, we have fulfilled this role.
I don't think anyone can deny or doubt that?
Sorry! This pod cast wasn’t clear to me lol😂 she is telling thing that she thinks
but I can think too!! Where is the research?
Lex is in ❤❤❤ awwww
A fantastic walk in the potentiality of beauty in the scope of nature and its symbiotic relationship to the essence of what it is to be human. There is a huge difference though between communication with the 5 senses and its reflection of beauty. The true essence of the beauty and communication via the nature world is the understanding it holds within the field of for lack of a better term psychedelics. Soma was an old word that held more condensed forms of meaning. The depths of understanding held in these compounds hold the essence of a missing book.
I don't know how I talk to trees just like I don't know how I do telepathy and teleportation 😅
plants and animals are extremely important because its likely that we will be reincarnated as one of these organisms and we dont want to suffer with anything in the next life ( such as depression, anxiety, fear, etc.) we want to reduce suffering as much as possible.
You can talk to plants.
How does she look like that at 47 shes gorgeous I want to look that good when I’m that age damnnn
Amazing
Can you guys please just get married 💗 Perfect couple
Yeah, my thought exactly. Here’s a lovely woman for you, Lex!❤❤❤

Why should we care what a rose wants? We generally don't care what the person five houses down the road wants. It's a wonderful type of romance to have 'faith' in but faith is the worst pathway to Truth that I can think of.
If you don't have faith in the possibility of finding truth, you simply won't find truth. Faith is the access point. If Einstein had no faith in the attempt to discover truth, we wouldn't know him today. Intuition is crucial to discovery and faith in the possibility of discovering something is crucial in making that intuition useful.
plants and animals are extremely important because its likely that we will be reincarnated as one of these organisms and we dont want to suffer with anything in the next life ( such as depression, anxiety, fear, etc.) we want to reduce suffering as much as possible.
This is a word salad.
@@maxsmith695 That's pretty funny... Metaphysical gibberish about plants... 'word salad'. I see what you did there, clever or accidental... chortle worthy.
@@pickitypopsnickitylovejone6558 Faith is an unwarranted conviction. You're talking about confidence in sound epistemology and reasoned methodology leading to models with evidentiary warrant. Faith and confidence are not synonymous, not even close in the way the word is being employed here.
Everything around us, whether apparently alive or not, has something to "say" something to "be".
Even woowoo.
The right to repair movement has the right idea. If we could only have products available that were easily fixed and simple and have parts easy to come by it would prevent so much waste. Production isnt the biggest part ofthe problem i dont think. Its waste! And the programming and idiotic culture we have allowed companies to push upon us to keep using snd throwing away. It will correct itself eventually. Things never stay the same. But cycles do repeat.
We modelled the tech on nature... It's a no brainer. If we believe we've improved on it why can we not reverse engineer a symbiosis?
we can
Love can be explained by a combo of firing hormones and adrenaline, Is that still love?
Thats infatuation, love is what comes after, and deep love is something that comes after many years. I’ve seen true unconditional love through my grandparents, and its sad because I dont think many people will get to experience that in their lifetime.
A tree can be explained by appealing only to the laws of chemistry. Is it still a tree?
I don't think it's fruitful to Anthropomorphism in relation to plants. This argument is often used to attack vegans i.e "You are just as bad as meat eaters because plants have feelings too!"
It is blade of grass and not leaf of grass..
Yep.
🔥
Plants have very simple desires. They just want fresh CO2 rich air, Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium, and other elements. Also love ❤

This is nonsense.
Railing against Christmas trees? The smell of pine in the house and the joy that they bring . . . come on.
Killing an entire tree just for one day of the year is wasteful and stupid, regardless of how much personal bias and emotion you pour over the concept.
If you look at the situation imploring logic and empathy, there's absolutely no way to conclude it's worth doing. Do you even know the origin of this practice? It used to be harvesting a dead or drying branch only to hang inside. Now we kill an entire living tree... It's ballooned into total nonsense just like the entire holiday has become consumerized BS.
