I like to think of this as the theme if Mabel was the main protagonist instead of Dipper. The music has that Mabel energy.
Funnily enough ,this is the theme of my swap AU where Mabel is the main protagonist, though just coincidentally due to being the "swapped" version of the GF theme.

Its good, but I can see why they opted for the other version. At times, it sounds wayy too sci-fi-ey.
Have. You. SEEN. the show? It is 90% ciphers, aliens, sci-fi, darker messages and 10% jokes, and kids show. Not that there is any swearing.
Sidharth Vitthanala i have seen the show. But this one sounds wayy too much like a scifi space adventure. I know its all about interdimmensional demons and a lot of scifi weirdness, but its not the entirety of it. It also encompasses a lot of magic and legitimately paranormal topics, its the whole package, not just scifi. That's why i think this theme doesn't suit it all that much.

I hope you enjoy! Here’s the summary. It begins 13 years ago, on a world called Olathe, a world were animals are free to rule, free of humans. But before the first rock, before the first tree, even before life itself, there were two gods: the sun and moon. The sun, whose name was Azreal, and the moon, whose name was Dahlia. Azreal gave the light of day to Olathe, and the moon gave night. Over time, Dalhia grew jealous of Azreal’s light. Dahlia began to boil with envy, and envy grows to anger, anger to hate to sickness. She get a sickness of the heart, a sickness that crushes your soul until the very person others call “you” dies. Dahlia decided that if she could not shine her light like the suns onto Olathe, there would be no life to shine it upon. She blackened the skies, blacker than coal, so black that not even the stars shone. And with the last of his power, Azreal created what the humans know as the “Aurora borileas” (forgive me for my spelling, I’m from Finland). The Aurora is a shield, a form of protection against the wrathful demenor of Dahlia. Years later, the Aurora began to crack. With nothing to fix it, Azreal created a rune to heal the Aurora. The rune was entrusted to a sage (if you’re curious a sage is like a philosopher wizard), a young a skilled wizard and runic specialist. The sage was a mostly happy with his life, his daughter, his job, his friends. But the sage was lonely. In the years past, his wife had gone missing(hint, hint, wink, wink), leaving him and his daughter alone. The sage wanted a real friend, someone that understood his pain. He would often daydream about talking to them, talking and laughing, in joy or in pain. One day, his wish was answered. A vulture, old and lonely came to cross his path. The sage and the vulture became the best of friends. They laughed, they cried, argued and agreed, sung and hushed. Only if the sage knew that his friend was not who he seemed. The vulture was deceived by a cult named “Black Dahlia”, a cult dedicated to the return of Dahlia, believing they would be spared. The vulture betrayed the sage, to his death, and stole the rune. But, he didn’t know that he had dropped it in the Far West of Olathe. Oh, how stricken with grief the sage’s daughter was when he was found dead. Wracked with fear and anger, she left the east and fled to the west, where she hoped to make a new and safer life in a new, barely colonized, no-man’s-land. And there, the to the east, I will not tell you where, the rune lies. And there, my friends, is the first primordial ooze of an inkling that has the potential to spark so many remark-u-los things. She will meet Abdul, the worthy warrior, Koda, the thief with honor, and Edmund, the crafty rabbit. In the words of Abdul Wahwood “Courage isn’t about having the strength to move forward. It’s about moving forward when you don’t have the strength.”.

@@galacticquasaur2956 I think they should have made this the Season 2 intro since the season 2 at least for me has more mystery and the tension is higher every episode , so i would use the normal one for the first Season and for the Second one i would take this song

The title says "Extended", that means it was looped to fit more time. The song would normally end at 0:53
