【OMORI】Good Morning | Orchestral Arrangement

The base version with 6 instruments were made by @awayo_vi ( / awayo_vi ) and I arranged it into a full orchestra as well as adding the transposition at the end.

Today I went to the OMORI Orchestra Concert by Musicengine!! In celebration of this event I created this cover! The arrangement of the song was inspired by OMOCAT's art where our favorite characters are each playing an instrument:)
I did my best to recreate the piano and violin parts all by ear.

The instruments each character holds was inspired by the official OMOCAT artwork that was made for the 3rd anniversary orchestra which took place in Japan on 11/22. You can check the artwork out on the Twitter X account of musicengine.
Ps: We’re aware that some of the art details might be off, such as the the bass’ tuning pegs being on the wrong side. Please note that this was the first time the artist drew any instrument nor have they played any instrument. For me too this was one of my first proper orchestration arrangements, and I had never payed attention to details of the instruments and for that I’m sorry (I understand it can be offensive for those who play the instruments.) I hope it doesn’t bug you too much, and we appreciate the advices:)
Don't worry so much. In the end, content always prevails, and form fades into the background. And even so, the form is beautiful, and you can close your eyes to minor flaws with peace of mind. And, let me be a toxic bastard: “If a person is offended by the fact that the pegs on a guitar are drawn incorrectly, then that’s just their problem, and an extremely petty one at that.”

love how sunny and basil seem to be the main instruments, with kel being present all the way faintly in the background. aubrey and hero also mostly only act together. somehow

AUBREY PLAYING THE BASS IS EVERYTHING. Usually people go on about the cello and violin while leaving the Viola and Bass in the shadows. I'm a bass player and honestly, listening to this put a smile on my face. Though I am still not quite skilled at the craft I can really appreciate music like this. Amazing music and visuals absolutely loved it!

Im a cello player, ive always seen people making fun of Bass and Viola. Bass seems really hard to do, the size is crazy, how do you travel with that??
@@S31Y0GH0ST my case personally has a handle and backpack straps so its possible to wear it on your back but idk about others.
Ik! Im a violin player and its really annoying when people are like, “woah!! You play the violin? Thats so cool!” And then theyll see a viola player andll be like, “oh.. cool.”
my mom was a viola player and my aunt played violin! i've always wanted to do violin but i always thought the viola was such a cool instrument!! my moms explains it as basically a smaller high pitched violin-

The instrumentation is beautiful, and I love how you incorporated the instruments given to each character! The concept of everyone playing a piece is heartwarming, and assuming that this is after the good ending, it implies that they forgave Sunny and Basil 🥺... The music is so beautiful... I'm definitely going to be listening to this a lot.

This really helped me with my anxiety! I had a panic attack and I was just listening to random music and I stumbled onto this and it really calmed me down!

I know the feeling of having panic attacks. Just try to power through it. For me, going outside to clear my thoughts helps, and listening to music too. I can’t say much to help with anxiety, but I’ve had panic attacks before. Being able to get through them shows a lot of strength. Keep on going on. 🙏

This is absolutely just incredible. There’s also something so poetic about Sunny and Mari being the last ones to finish the song with their violin and piano. It’s such a beautiful way to finish a song that represents a good end to a tragic story.
This is AWESOME! I'm crying. And Basil with Sunny being the main instruments are breaking my heart, I like this so much. Thanks for this great work!!!
