Many people say, Status Quo playes only three accords. But this is Rock'nroll!!!! Hey Folks, the mood at the party is down..... Play STATUS QUO..... and the people dance on the Table😎🎸🎵🎙 Often experienced Keep Rockin....
We all learnt they were happy with the reputation. “ searching for the fourth chord”. 😂. But they had it naked from the 60’s. Any media is good. Even when it’s wrong 👍🏻💲
Seen the mighty Quo over 40 times over the last 50years! One of the greatest live bands ever. Never be the same without Rick and Alan but blessed to have witnessed them. Keep rockin’ Quo!!!
In The Army reminds me of my 2 Great-Uncles killed in action during World War 1,their names are: Corporal John Charles Markham(used his middle name Charles as his first name),b:1893-d:23/04/1918(aged 25 years) and,Private John Haydn Markham,b:1894-d:07/05/1915(aged 21 years).
Status Quo.... The first song where i get wild to was Down Down. But than i remember......there was a band where my older brothers allways listening to and that liked a lot. The song was called... ' technicolour dreams ' and then i remember the name of this amazing band. Status Quo. Since then i have buyed e-v-e-r-y album of the Quo and i can say that i one of the biggest fans of Status Quo. When Rick Parfit was passed the way i feel very down for months. Now i turn their music nearly every day and when i don't i feel bad. So i MUST turn Quo ....e v e r y d a y and it never get boring
Quo we’re an essential part of 70’s/80’s music scene in the UK. Manya lad like me had Quo playing on the cassette player taped the the handlebars of their Yamaha FSie…..cruising the council estates thinking they were the ultimate of cool. With short back and sides haircut. With a false pony tail hanging out at the back of the helmet. With Domestos bleached Millets SnugFit £6.99 jeans. And an unlit fan hangin from the mouth….coz you didn’t smoke.
Nuff's melodic booming Bass from the beginning. Great. Spud with his magic shuffle. Ricks pacey rhythm and Rossi before he turned devil. The Frantic four legends.
i become in love with them for the fist time with the single ice in the sun and then the lp dog of two head till the 80's than they went to commercial but the cocerts rock very well
There was only one Quo, Rossi, Parfitt, Lancaster and Coghlan. From Ma Kelly to Blue for You, and maybe Rocking All Over The World? But once Rossi got Pip Williams involved, it was Over and Done!!
Greetings from germany. Great compilation. Interesting how they changed their style and sound over the years. From the very lows like "In the Army now" and "Marguerita Time" to the heavy bangers like "Paper Plane". They were my absolute heroes from the late 1970s until around 1984. They brought me from Hard Rock to Heavy Metal. Legends!
Quo was good from the late 60s till the late 70s. After this time they only played bullsh*t. In the army now and Marguerita Time were Kindergarden Music. And that was the Reason why Alan leaves the Band. For your Information. Paper Plane was before In the Army and Marguerita Time.
@@user-vz9vc8bq1s Thanks for your answer. Of course I know the chronological order of the songs and that "Paper Plane" is from the "Piledriver" album. I should have phrased and structured the sentences a little differently. Strictly speaking, "Never Too Late" was the last really cool record.
STATUS QUO were great in the 70's their first five albums were awesome. Plus their double live album STATUSQUO LIVE AT GLASGOW 1976 When Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan left the band and in came other members I found that STATUS QUO had lost me as a fan. Now that Rick Parfait and Alan Lancaster have passed away and Francis Rossi is not my favourite member of the QUO. They have lost their mark STATUSQUO is not STATUSQUO anymore.
Exellent Set List !
STATUS FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!.
CONGRATULATIONS FROM ARGENTINA.
RIP .. Rick 7 Years since you passed away. we all miss Rick.. Quo were never the same without Rick and Alan Lancaster..RIP Legends
😢missed so much such fun characters too
Without Alan Lancaster was Quo going maybe 20 years Very well. Without Rick, you are right, IT wouldnt be S. Quo..
Просто...жаль😊
Not to mention another Great English Guitarist in Spain .. Alvin Lee... 'Ten Years After'
He’s still with us. 👍🏻🔥
Francis Rossi ist a Guitar Hero! R.I.P. my Friend Rick Parfitt.

Легендарная, культовая группа!!! Слушали в общаге института, как же это было здорово!!!!
Rock'n'roll creates songs with an almost inexhaustible amount of ideas and follows the royal road of British pop. It's really good.

The best live band of that era. Above Zep, Sabbath The stones. Long live the QUO
КАК ВСЕГДА...БРАВО!!!!!!!!!!❤
This is great. Love the original guys making this great music. I didn’t realise Alan was only 9 in the Pictures clip 😂. Miss him .

Always loved Rick Parfitts style of the way he played rhythm guitar in that choppy style!

Eu amo rock, principalmente quando se encontra essas pérolas!
Они принесли не только плотность звучания (раньше шведского квартета)в чистом виде .Но и сделали её своим саундом и впихнули в него мелодии...
Great collection of Classic Quo....

Wow, it took me all this time to find out who sang that first song, which brought me back years when living was carefree.
Only 1 original member left in todays lineup

Some of the best are you being serious ??

Blue for you last decent album, rubbish after that
The music style : ta-da, ta-da, ta-da... you call some of best.
Best of what?
I used to like Quo in the early days and then it turned into a cheese fest
Don't watch it then..simple !! :)
Sorry to say but ....in the army now..... just wasn't their style not a good song at all....
No problem ..We can't all like the same things . Personally it was one of my favourites. Maybe because I was in the army. :)
In the army was slow paced song not medium fast paced catchy songs they write....
@@balticstain7150 If we left everything as it was, we would still be living in caves. In the Army now only really became known through SQ!
I am absolutely of the same opinion. It's kind of a downer in an otherwise groovy repertoire.
