If a bunch of kids could go up against a fraction of her power without Valimar OR Rean's Spirit Uni., in a party of 4-7 at a time, imagine what they could do with years of experience(i.e. post ToCS 4), a Divine Knight/Spirit Uni., in full force and assisted by two sets of allies who have gone up against comparable odds, if not worse odds. "Steel" is certainly better than "Cold Steel." The translated name "Cold Steel" really was quite unfortunate, as CS3 revealed. Not blaming XCEED, as they couldn't have known, but it's a big oof in retrospect. (Major spoilers follow if you haven't played CS3.) It's called Trails of Steel because of Erebonia's ancient transmutation of fire and earth into what is basically a Sept-Terrion of Steel; the descriptor "cold" shits all over the Hexen Clan and their link to the primordial element of flame. It's a huge part of the plot, thematically ruined in the title!
Then I guess Hajimari translation title become Trails of Reverie is unfortunate too? I mean, Hajimari means the beginning. I wish they would just translate Kuro no Kiseki as Trails of Black lol
An amazing piece of work, you can feel the power and destruction as it absolutely decimates your party! It's about as destructive as the final boss in the TiTS the 3rd's ultimate attack! THAT was something! ^_^
