    I have a 2021 ( plus , pilot ans nappa) . Personally i think Plus package is a must , i really dont like the basic seats( they re too short and not comfortable for long trip) , the panoramic roof make feel the interior much spacious, the basic sound are not great and for winter climate heating steering wheel should be always on . If somebody use it twice a week ,ok but for a daily driving it s worth to pay some extra money 😉

    I can confirm that the consumption and range have improved quite a bit with the software updates.

    Only thing you perhaps have 'missed' is that the price recently went up (at least here in the Netherlands) by 2000 euros, for at least the long range version.

    Thank you for your comments on the Heat Pump Kris. There are a lot of motor journalists out there who by default says that a EV without a heat pump is useless, and because of that you need to get the +pack. I am not sure they are 100% aware what they are talking about. I decided not to get the heat pump because i rarely drive long trips, and I am super happy with the choise. Have you by the way made a comparison test video on two identical Polestar 2 with/without heat pump?

  • @chidorirasenganz
    @chidorirasenganz Před 2 lety

    I would definitely say get the heat pump as you will get more consistent range in hot and cold temps

      How does the heat pump increase range in hot temperatures?

    • @chidorirasenganz
      @chidorirasenganz Před 2 lety +1

      @@SS-yw7vo It’s more efficient than standard cooling just like it is for heating. It doesn’t create anything only transfers heat inside or outside the car which requires way less energy.

    My Zaptec Charger is garbage. At least, I have to assume it is. I can't reliably charge my EV from it, but the EV manufacturer blames the charger and Zaptec blames the manufacturer. The EV charges fine literally everywhere else though.

      You hit the nail on the head. My experience from the moment I ordered the car to now has been unsatisfactory and I havent even had the car delivered yet. Shocking customer service. • @nielsen6725

    Dealbreaker for me with Polestar 2 is the cramped space. Backseat is almost useless for adults, and frontseat especially cramped in width due to console.
    In others areas, it is a really great car (materials, UI, design), so it's a shame with the lack of space.

    • @siasek
      @siasek Před 2 lety +1

      Then I must have been in a different car. You just have to be an average European and there's plenty of room. The big advantage of the Polestar is just that it's not unnecessarily big.

    • @nielsen6725
      @nielsen6725 Před 2 lety

      @@siasek nope, wasn't in a different car... Space in Polestar 2 really was cramped. Compared to several other EVs I've tried, Polestar 2 gets last place when it comes to space. But very good in other aspects.

      @siasek Před 2 lety

      I've ridden in the Polestar 2 and thoroughly explored it and I don't know what I need more room for. I really liked the centre tunnel, because you can rest your hand on it while driving, for example when selecting music, it's perfectly thought out.
