We discuss everything from our drive to Dubuque, IA for the rally launch to our breakdown after checkpoint 5 and every detail that led to our 1st place finish and creating the underdog story of 2023.

Man, these kinds of videos give me goosebumps and put me right back in that day. I’m so incredibly proud of you and your team, y’all overcame so much, ALMOST QUIT but persevered through and the outcome was so incredible! There’s so much I could add at so many points in this video; overall I absolutely loved this video. Seeing the perspective from the day is one of the most rewarding things to me because I don’t get to rally on the same day you all do. I only hear snippets throughout the day and at the end of the day. Team HHR deserved this win and I hope all three of you carry that win with you for a long long time. Thank you for supporting our event Aaron, it really means the world to me to have people like you apart of this incredible event and part of this community!😊
I've never been more proud of anything I've been a part of. We tried putting it all on this video. This event is something that we take a lot of pride in. We value the relationships we've made throughout the years, and the stories we have to tell are some of our best.
As for this video, I think it's the best thing I've put on CZcams. I can't watch it and not get pulled right back into the same emotions. It's exhilarating and intense for me. That whole weekend was one for the record books. I love the relationships I've gained since being associated with WCEC. Thank you for always giving this community something positive to look forward to. Thank you for being a light in an otherwise dark space.

Something that I find so interesting about RVRR and how we run it is how teams balance out the reality of driving their modified car for 8+ hours. There's always something, ALWAYS something that gets tossed into the mix throughout the day. Sometimes it's a tire, other times its a sensor. Either way, the win was well deserved and it's the tenacity that always pays with dividends over time. Anyone can give up, not every one can see things through to the end. And it's true, it's never about the car, it's about the people you have with you. Copilots win rallies!
PS, calling Gretchen a rally princess is now ingrained in my brain and I don't think i'll be able to unhear it.
Appreciate the shoutout as well man, but i'm nothing without such an incredible team around me that believe in making sure everyone loves the day. They're the rockstars.
Thank you for putting so much effort into creating these events and experiences that provide a space for the underdog to shine. I consider myself lucky to able to be a part of these things. I consider myself fortunate to be associated with people who encourage the best from others. I look forward to growing with you guys.

I'm trying to find the right words to say here and for one of the few times in my life I'm drawing a blank. The support and the incredible things you had to say not only about me, but about the team around me, are SO SO SO humbling and I can't even begin to describe the amount of emotion they compel me to feel. But above that, the story here is SO good.
I've always been an underdog, so I relate so hard to the story of coming up against all odds. When we heard about the troubles you guys were having with the car on rally day, my heart sank. I knew you guys were running strong and to possibly eliminate that idea broke my heart, but despite that you guys pulled through. You stayed the course, you stuck it out, and ultimately you won.
Thank you for all that you do for our event Aaron. It truly means the world to us that you continue to support us, to help us push this event to new crowds, and to help us create the best rally events that we possibly can.

Very cool video. I love how passionate your team is, and how you can see your genuine excitement and pride as you tell the story. You guys will always remember this. I've never done the rally surprisingly enough, and your recap definitely made me want to. This is a great example of what being a car enthusiast is about, and how the community comes together. Seems like you guys always set out and accomplish what you set your mind to.
So many good memories have come from our experiences in the rally. I really appreciate you watching it.
We definitely try to accomplish a lot. I bought another SS last week (basically) for a CZcams build series. Hopefully, flip a little profits around so I can get this 63 Oldsmobile bagged by this summer. Let's of goals and only one way to accomplish them all. Just need to keep working.
