I think he is my current favorite flutist. His sound is open and clear but not the least bit cold or harsh

Usually when a flutists moves around its so distracting. Mr. Pahud just looked like he was having SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me or do people only appear to play/sound better dressed down in jeans?

I went to a concert this morning where he performed Mozart, Amy Beach ❤️, Philippe Manoury and Heinrich Hoffman. A Sunday morning sublime chamber concert flute and strings. A warming sunshine in chilly Strasbourg, a balm for the heart. One of the best concerts I've seen in the last 2 year. He's amazing, and so were the other artists.

The best version of this composition. Too bad about the masks of the orchestra.

Jesus! Em played the Andantino precisely AS WRITTEN. He did not play a single additional note. Great job, Em!
