  • Having been a partner at Pentagram’s New York office since 1991, we wondered how Paula Scher would manage to give an overview of her wide ranging practice in just 10 mins. She managed it through outlining three distinct projects, dropping nuggets of advice for budding designers along the way.

I'm in love with Paula Scher. In the first presentation: ¿Why is it the white square inside the circle? ¿Is it a code for mental health or something about it?

It's a square peg in a round hole. An idiom pertaining to someone who doesn't fit in any niche of their society. In this case, it's the perfect logo for Mental Health Coalition.
