- Can high income ETFs replace passive Dividend ETFs in the current market environment?
So A series of events just took place that reaffirms why I think right now is the perfect time for high income ETFs to shine, and passive dividend ETFs, may face some difficulties in 2024 and onwards.
And there's four things we have to urgently talk about. Market volatility, dividend income, asset allocation and interest rates.
These three factors together all favour High income ETFs but can work against passive dividend ETFs like SCHD.

Vik I have been watching your videos for a while now. Albeit I appreciate your viewpoints you give me the impression that you are more of a trader than investor. The name of the game is time in markets and not timing markets. Low tide causes all ships to lose elevation but jumping from ship to ship will get your feet wet and ruin your shoes.
I really like the way you cleavaged through all of the complexities and ambiguities of the subject.
Thank you Victoriya
Love your opinion on GPIX and GPIQ and how they compare to JEPI and JEPQ, Thank you
Great video. Really like it. May I ask what software or website you used to make those comparison chart? Thanks
Great video. Thank you
Vyk, dovyou think it's worth remind some listeners about that prediction tool again. I think it was the cycle forecast tool??
Hey Vik, where would you place CHI? I have build a position over 2 decades for a monthly retirement income. It seems to correlate with the market and I occasionally trade around it. I would appreciate your insight.
Thanks!
What stock did you add friday to the daily challenge
What are we doing day trading etfs?
Thank you your explanation between Jepq and qyld was spot on
Recently found your channel. You are good.
Could you possibly make a video on 3 or 4 different ETFs to own for life. Growth and dividends
Very smart comparisons, that was an eye-opener, great video keep them coming.
Thank you very much! 😊
Great video, it would be great a review of GPIX and GPIQ
All I see is that SCHD will be on sale soon?
only time to buy this etf is when it has a 6 handle
@@stephenkatz1032Sorry for the ignorance but what do you mean by 6 handle?
@@Lobina1969 no worries , 69 and below
very good information and very logic
and SVOL?
I sold JEPI awhile back and bought a lot of SPLG (S&P 500). I also bought a lot of QQQM. Having that said, what do you and others think about buying JEPI and JEPQ and turning the aut0-revinvestment of monthly dividends of both and then using the monthly dividends into SPLG & QQQM?
I also own 331 shares of SCHD but once I get it to 350 shares I will put additional investments in SCHD on hold until things calm down with all the world events and the fed lowers interest rates.
Hmmm--the cost basis for the 750 shares I bought of QYLD about a year ago was about $16.50/share and now the NAV is about $18/share. That's about a 7.5% increase in NAV for this stock (without reinvesting dividends), plus the dividends I've received each month (about $130/month) during the last 12 months. It seems to be performing quite well!
VIKTORIYA YOU HAVE AN AMAZING GRASP OF THIS IMPORTANT INFO AND CONCEPTS . DO YOU HAVE A TABLE SUMMARY OF LETS SAY THE TOP ETF'S BY CATAGORY, WITH DETAILS OF WHETHER THEY SELL ATM OR OTM AND CORRELATIONS TO INTEREST RATES MOVEMENT, VOLITLITY MOVEMENT, MARKET CORRECTION ETC SO THAT WE CAN KIND OF LAY OUT A GO FORWARD PLAN GIVEN VARIOUS SCENARIOS? THOUGHTS
Even though i don't understand the technical details, but i guess the summary is to buy more of JEPQ and slow down on buying/holding SCHD during these volatile times.
all good i own all three SCHD,JEPI and JEPQ.....let the games begin
I have both JEPQ and QYLD and your analysis fits with my experience of their performance
Hi thank you.
What do think about yieldmax etfs in correction time?
one area of concern is the recent Reverse Split on TSLY. Readers should investigate for themselves what that means.
Im ahead on qyld so why not just buy on the dip of qyld. looking long term.
Geez. Good idea to always be jumping around among investment vehicles?
anyone reading these comments can verify what you said
I can handle underperformance in the short to medium term in SCHD and similar ETFs because that allows you to get more shares when Dripping so in the long run (10+ years) you will have a higher dividend income because of that initial underperformance. As long as the dividend payment keeps rising every year then the ETF is doing its work
Viktoriya, based on your deep analysis of ETF's, can you please compare JEPQ Vs QQQI, you may want to include one more of your choosing
Very interesting explanation!
I enjoy your evaluation of strategies to invest long-term -- specifically, brokerage-linked 401k allowing pretty much everything except commodities or trading options. Thank you!
I’m in it for the long term so will consider schd dip as a buying opportunity
Markets conditions change and her opinion should change with it. Viktoria, with the recent downturn in the market, what do you think of buying a leveraged ETF, like UPRO, to take advantage of the market coming back up?
High implied volatility favors the option sellers. So JEPI might finally be able to get out of the 7-8% distribution rut.
Ignore the haters. I find the information you provide to be a valuable resource that I factor in to my overall research that I use to make my own decisions.
I agree...flip flop
Don’t be an ass
It is very good info
@@cathyfeller873 Try following her every week. You will agree with flip flop. Don't just comment for the sake of commenting.
@@cathyfeller873 Like ass it is. More garbage than last time
Interesting channel.......
Wish you would have told me this a week ago. I'm riding the storm until the end. Now my dividends reinvested can by me lots of shares of bankrupt companies.
Highest bidder gets their ETF promoted on this channel! But she explains everything logically and does explain what these ETFs do…
This channel should be called “Flip Flop” 😂
Exactly
🤣🤣🤣 Flippidy flop media.
Facts!
So true! She is struggling a bit.
@@boogasauce2083 I mean I get the clickbait angle BUT like 24 hours ago she makes a video about the best ETFs to buy and hold…now this?
Flip a coin video
You're talking my language and frankly, I have QYLD/JEPI/JEPQ/SVOL and MAIN in my ROTH doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Provide tax free income and I don't have to sell any of them to generate the income. With any luck, things are doing just fine.
God.... I just can't trust t bills, look at that volatility... wtf is happening, are they meme stocks now????
Is there any evidence that a person is better off with any of these ETFs than just investing S &P
None
You dare bash beloved SCHD?????? NOOOOOooooooo, lol.
She is entertaining, but when it comes to buy and hold, holy cow, my head is spinning from day to day.,
That’s why must rise to the occasion and take emotion out of money. Which is incredibly hard for us poor people. 1g is a lot of money and it takes a while to get, so the loss of 50 bucks hurts .
@@user-gj6rl7po9q Except literally every study shows if you just buy and hold a S&P 500 index fund over the long run you beat them all. You will never be at the top, but never at the bottom just good. Chasing what is hot is a sure sign for disaster, sorry, just my opinion and that of Buffett
U need to understand its not crypto, pump & dump
Value your opinion 😊 but I won't be taking it seriously though
My dog watched this with me and barked at the screen.
why is the mic hanging there?:P
BUCK,SGOV for now
She changes her opinions on which funds to invest in, confusing.
Agreed! She's also trying to get as many people as possible to watch her videos. You have to factor that in to her advice/opinions.
Your logic is irrefutable!☝️🤓
Seriously... I hate this clickbait titles...
What is this nonsense, you just buy and hold,
She is running out of ETF and she does not have much to talk . Bring on something new

With how fast you dump ETFs, I would be scared to be your boyfriend😅
She doesn't dump any ETFs, she doesn't buy into any of this, it's all for the views.
@@JustinPratt1 I figured that, she does always suggest to dump ETFs tho
You will be in big trouble if you follow Viktoriya Media as she changes her own opinion every week.
oddly, few people seem to notice that
When I first found this channel I found it insightful but this flip flopping is getting quite exhausting. I find it pathetic that she has to associate Buffett with her videos for clicks. Unsubscribed
If one tunes out the clickbait thumbnails, and the silly Byyyy at the end, she is actually very knowledgeable and informative. The thumbnails scream dump this and buy now! but her actual video is much more balanced.
I know youtubers need views. And what do I know about views. But I wish she would experiment with non-clickbait intros.
Or how about sticking to strategies to create long term wealth instead of flavor of the week strategies.

Been cycling my S&P into JEPQ since the market started going sideways. So far, not disappointed.
