Good luck with everything!😀
kheo tay qua chuan 👍👏
Very good! Thanks from Brazil.
I don’t think porcelain would look good on a bill teapot
Me too!!! Amazing !
Nice job, I noticed some of the viewers were a tiny bit critical, but I realise they are giving you some good advice. None of us is too old to learn. I'm a long retired machinist, lathe , mill , etc so reading the comments I see where they're coming from. Salud from Argentina.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hola soy de Argentina
Stunning ! I was wondering what the metal was. I wish you could have given us an age and anything you could research from the mark on the bottom. It was certainly worth all the hard work and effort you put into it! Thank you for sharing.
Thank for cmt
I am not sure about this one..maybe use a softer polisher so you avoid scratching the metal? Also the bolts just kinda took out some beauty from the handle..rivets would have been better but nice job
Same.
I was surprised by how they started with such a harsh technique...
Very very nice work! ✨👌
May I ask what did you use for cleaning inside the pot please?
I assume that he restored it for just a static display and not for actual use as a tea pot.
Thank you !
I admire people who can bring old pieces back to life. This is a beauty. I’d love to have it. My mom had an ox with a rider made of teak and it had ivory teeth. Some people don’t value anything old.
Thank youu
Very nice but I would have liked to see how you handled the interior of the pot. You roughly sanded it but there would be a lot to clean and sanitize inside the pot including the spout
I was thinking the same thing.
I agree!
It’s a mess but kind of beautiful thank you for brining it back to life . I’d love it in my teaPot collection the handle let’s it down a bit but heck I’d own it lol
Thank !
I’d love some narration with a history of the object and an explanation of the process.
This was almost too old to restore like this. A museum would have been the right place. But I think it got perfect. 👍 For you.
Nice job. But I have one critic point!
Never replace a plain bolt with a threaded screw . The bolt has a smooth surface where the friction-rotation of the handle joins the pot. When you put a normal screw there it will wore out rapidly.the softer brass. Take a screw with a neck and cut the thread ro the desired length. Or much better , make a brass bolt and hammer the head carefully to fit properly.
The symbol that appears on the base of the teapot is the Chinese character "民國五年" (fifth year of the Republic of China), which may also be dated 1916. Does this symbol indicate that this teapot was made in 1916? It is not certain, and it is possible that this is a mere trademark. The use of brass for teapot is not popular in China, and even rarer is the use of such a shape. A teapot of this shape would be less practical and more likely to be a work of art for decoration. The shape of the teapot is very much in keeping with Chinese style, and it is likely to have been made in China. If it were made in 1916, it would have a certain collector's value, but there is no need to expect it to have a high value, as it is, after all, a mass-produced industrial product rather than a hand-made one.
I wondered if it was really a milk jug??
Thank you for the additional information.
You need to be on antique roadshow 😂
It’s so beautiful. Who knew something so special was beneath all the dirt. Well you did, obviously. 😊
This super slo-mo panning thing has gotten out of hand
Yes,2 minutes 41 seconds at the beginning is simply too long.
Agreed. And i played back at 1.5x speed. Still annoying
Agree 100%
Agreed, way too many slow panning shots of the tea pot. Rest is good though.
I had x2 playback speed still kind of long
The restoration is a craft and the results are magical. Great stuff.
I feel bad I ran through it too fast. It's late and I wanted to see this before I went to bed. Now I need to go back and watch the whole thing. It is a beautiful tea pot... milk whatever it is. It's lovely and very unique.
I was hoping after all that hard work you will replace the small nuts and bolts from the handle. Nice work thank you for for sharing
Nice project. Tighten up the editing … I can run these at 2X speed and they are interesting. A little slow at regular speed.
Agree tooo slow
Yes, much better played at a faster speed.
That’s just your preference, some of us enjoy the long look at the completed project.
Correct
I agree.
Chinese word "民國五年" is 1916 years old.
thank you. I was wondering. At least it isn’t an ancient artifact. Not the most sensitive restoration. I doubt this was shiny even when new.
whoops. Did you mean made in 1916?
Since WWI
@@genghischuan4886 since when Endia used Chinese as Endia language?
Well said to Ebrahim
Who could have guessed so much beauty could emerge from that old teapot! Awesome!
As a Taurus, I want this teapot ♉ A great restoration!
We will try our best in the next videos, don't forget to follow me
Great restoration. Very good.
Wow. Never imagined it could end up looking like that.
It’s beautiful. 🥰
A bit of work with a small file would remove the casting lines from the top, and brass screws for the handle. otherwise, good job.
thank you for comment
Thank you
We will try harder in the next videos, thank you for watching and leaving comments!
Was für ein Schmuckstück! Was für ein Künstler! Vielen herzlichen Dank!
Que coisa mais linda! Eu estou impressionada pela beleza desta peça!
Has he never heard of a soft buffing wheel? And why not finish the handle on the lathe? Just not using his tools well at all. End results beautiful however.
If you like god awfull tat then I agree
I would like to own it and use it but I would remake the handle
It's like it needs a hand- painted porcelain handle.
How so?
Yeah porcelain would look good too
i love the handle, just not the color
Why
Thank you, don't forget to share my video
I'm so envious of not only the skill these guys have, but of their patience, as well.
Tools too😂
He is so cute, Beautifully done.
Que bonito, y que trabajo tan arduo, Maestro!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's stunning!! I'm guessing it's in honor of the year of the ox. Were you able to identify the hallmarks on the bottom?? Beautiful work!!
I never would have thought that it could end up looking that beautiful. What a fantastic job of bringing it back to life!
Thank you, We will try harder in the next videos
@@WorldRestorationWhat on earth made you think it's a teapot? It isn't, it's a kettle, that's why there is wood in the handle.
BEAUTIFUL !!!!
The blow torch had me lol. It reminded me of my father. Oh hell yeah…you’re coming loose.
ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT 😮😮
The visible bolts ruin the line of the handle.
And what about the random notches?
Knit pickers.
really quite sad
It is absolutly beautyful. Like a peice of jewelry.
Maravilloso trabajo!!!
Who would have thought that looks gorgeous you did a wonderful job thanks for showing
That’s why you fast forward
Amazing...you gave it new life and it looks magnificent (think an ebony handle would have finished it off)
FORTUNATELY ebony trade is banned since 1990. From 1947 - 1990 some older items can be sold inside the EU with a certificate only.
Is the teapot made of brass? Sure is pretty once you're done with it! nice job!
thank you
Hello, how are you? The dedication you gave to achieve a perfect finish, the neatness for a great achievement, everything was going very well, but I hope you see it as a constructive criticism, having the relevant tools, the piece of wood from the handle also from where you could have gotten the correct length and you start adjusting the tips with a rasp, having a lathe, that piece should have come out perfect and with the ability to enter adjusted to the bronze pieces that had a cup where the wood of a measure entered correct, they are details that mess up your great work, but the icing on the cake was to finish by placing a bolt with a nut in the socket of the handle with the kettle, that stained all your good work, my desire is to show you that a tiny mistake ends up dismantling a beautiful job.
Kind regards.
Lindo! Restauração maravilhosa! Parabéns.
Wow 👏I would love that on my table, celebrate the unique 😀.
Cute tea pot
I really was not expecting it to become so shiny, great work !!
Genial!! Desde Uruguay va mi saludo!! 👏👏👏
I absolutely loved this teapot, wish it was mine. I love the whole finish you've given it too. And .... thank goodness you didn't do fast fwd. That drives me crazy. Where did you get it? It i s originally Chinese, Tibetan? I just love it, well done.
Dont worry we did it ourselves as it was way too slow for us.
It is indeed a work of art, and you brought it back, awesome.
Thrilled to find this channel. I love restorations, I could sleep soundly hearing sandblasting. Your workshop is truly the studio of an artist. That teapot is reborn. Thanks so much.

Not a teapot
WOW! Well worth the trouble. This is just lovely.
Very beautiful, thank you for showing us this in depth process. Earned a subscriber. Also very thankful that you included the part at the end where you put it to use.
I SOOOOOOO wish there was a way to keep 6006LE from slapping ADs all over the tail-end of videos WE ARE CURRENTLY WATCHING!!!!!!! And ... does anyone know how I can get ALL of my videos' "windows" to stay at the top of the screen WHILE I SCROLL DOWN THROUGH THE COMMENTS??? Some do; others scroll "north" when I go down the list of comments!!
