Thanks for watching vdo's Badrinarayana below are the answers. 1 - Bajaj Chetak EV weight is 118 kg 2 - We have not experienced rain yet but soon as monsoon is coming we will shoot a vdo and post our experience about drives in rainy days. 3 - Sadly no you can not carry gas cylinder on the front foot space. 4 - Regarding storage space below the seat, half helmet can be accommodated so you can imagine how it would, for my experience its a good space. 5 - Yes there only 2 models, first is urban and second is premium, there are only 2 major differences in both models, urban does not have front disk brake and does not come with leather seat cover, these both features are given in premium model. and color options are limited in urban model. it is good to know you have decided to go ahead with EV. if you have any further question we will be happy to answer those.

Bajaj Provides smart charging unit along with Chetak which takes care of the stability of electricity so nothing to worry about however that charging unit is not free it has a separate cost.

Hi Sir, greetings of the day, thanks for your comment, its been almost a year now and our feedback about Chetak is positive, its a good EV, its a practical EV, very strong and long lasting build quality over all a good product however due to recent price hike it has become expensive hence other brands like TVS, Ather, Hero, Okinawa which also have good EV scooters are gaining sales in market so you can check for these options as well.

Yes its an optional, its called Home charging station, the cost of the home charging station is 10000, its not included in the cost, initially Bajaj has given it free to few users but later they stopped giving it for free. only major use of this charging station is you can see the electricity consumption and it has a lock so no one else can use it while you are away other wise Bajaj Chetak can be charged by plugging into a regular 5-ampere home power outlet which we can make it our parking area.

Yes you can use it in village area without any issue. yes it is very sturdy so you can ride it on worst roads. you can use it during rainy season as well, and it has more torque than conventional scooters so it can be driven in muddy area however if there is more mud due to small tyre size it might get stuck. Front space is quite big but I don't think it can fit cooking cylinder. Bajaj Chetak would be comfortable to carry the weight of two average weight people, so in short load carrying capacity is around up to 150 to 170 KG. The ground clearance of Bajaj Chetak is around 145mm. which is enough.
I go out of India for 2 to 3 months. Do i have to discharge the battery everytime I go because the battery can be discharged. Also can I remove the battery by myself because I cannot go to the shop and remove battery else i cannot drive it to return

Plz provide the current cost of battery, motor and charging cable. Also what would be the tentative cost of the battery after 3 years warranty (considering price inflation in last 3-5 years)as this is one of the most expensive part and we have to buy the new one in case of low efficiency which reduces gradually or in malfunction.
Current price for battery is 40000 rs, charging cable cost is 700 rs, I am not aware about the motor cost at this moment. Battery warranty is 3 years but life is 5 to 6 years or 1 lak KM so what I feel is battery cost will reduce in future as when smart phone came in market they were expensive but now smart phones are economical so same will be case for EV battery's also.
It seems they have corrected the range in the website as per the users feedback and actual range in real world.... price hike we cant answer this as company should give clarification about increase in the price.
Battery warranty is upto 50000 km but life of battery is 1lak km, battery is not removable means we can not remove it however service people can remove it if needs to be replaced or have any issues ok don't worry.
Bhai I live in 5th floor and there is no power socket near my parking where I can plug in to charge and also I live in a rent house the my owner won't allow me to install a socket near the parking as it is a public one and everytime visiting the showroom just to charge my vehicle won't be possible...what should I do?
Central Govt has issued a notice in which all EV owners have right to install charging socket in their parking, since you are staying on rent you have to request your owner to allow you to make charging point where you park your EV, this Charging point has to be connected to your flat meter so this way society also will not have any issue. one more solution is that now many more public charging points are coming up all over city so you have to check near by charging point, download Ather grid app and check if any charging point is near to your house. as Ather has made almost 15+ charging points all over city in pune.

Charing bag jo hai wo gadi ke sath aata hai, home charging box alag se lena padta hai, but ye optional hai. home charging box me aapko aapke electricity ka unit consution dikhega ki kitni bijli use ho rahi hai.
I have personally not tested revolt 400 so can not comment on it. I can say that Chetak is very good EV and if you are looking to buy EV pls take test drive of both vehicles and compare it and then decide.

I have bought new chetak ev last week and when I am charging it, it got charged 100 % in just 3 hrs, so it is good for battery or not.

how about tyre pressure whether air or nitrogen.
If charging 100% but still charging is switched ON than is it automatically stop charging ya we have to manually stop

Bilkul chadhai pe bhi petrol scooter ki taraha perform karegi saman load karne ke bad bhi.

Thanks, Bajaj Chetak ki battery hai capacity of 3kWh, ye ghar me aaram se charge ho sakti hai, iski wajahase ghar ke meter pe load nahi aata, battery jo hai 5AMP socket se charge kar sakte hai, ok so dont worry.

Yes jo setup dikhaya hai wo purchase karna padta hai, aur jinke yaha parking me socket nahi hai available wo log socket banake use kar sakte hai, jo setup hai wo bhi laga sakte hai usme sirf ek fayda hai ki usko lock ata hai so dusra koi wo setup ka socket use nahi kar sakta rest baki koi farak nahi hai.

Plz provide the current cost of battery, motor and charging cable.
Also what would be the tentative cost of the battery after 3 years warranty (considering price inflation in last 3-5 years)as this is one of the most expensive part and we have to buy the new one in case of low efficiency which reduces gradually or in malfunction.
Current price for battery is 40000 rs, charging cable cost is 700 rs, I am not aware about the motor cost at this moment.
Battery warranty is 3 years but life is 5 to 6 years or 1 lak KM so what I feel is battery cost will reduce in future as when smart phone came in market they were expensive but now smart phones are economical so same will be case for EV battery's also.

It seems they have corrected the range in the website as per the users feedback and actual range in real world.... price hike we cant answer this as company should give clarification about increase in the price.

Battery warranty is upto 50000 km but life of battery is 1lak km, battery is not removable means we can not remove it however service people can remove it if needs to be replaced or have any issues ok don't worry.
Bhai I live in 5th floor and there is no power socket near my parking where I can plug in to charge and also I live in a rent house the my owner won't allow me to install a socket near the parking as it is a public one and everytime visiting the showroom just to charge my vehicle won't be possible...what should I do?
Central Govt has issued a notice in which all EV owners have right to install charging socket in their parking, since you are staying on rent you have to request your owner to allow you to make charging point where you park your EV, this Charging point has to be connected to your flat meter so this way society also will not have any issue. one more solution is that now many more public charging points are coming up all over city so you have to check near by charging point, download Ather grid app and check if any charging point is near to your house. as Ather has made almost 15+ charging points all over city in pune.

Agar aap gadi roj thoda chalate ho to battery discharge nahi hogi par agar aap gadi 10-12 days nahi use karoge to 4-5% discharge hogi ok.

I have personally not tested revolt 400 so can not comment on it. I can say that Chetak is very good EV and if you are looking to buy EV pls take test drive of both vehicles and compare it and then decide.
