Thank you for this video, with your help I managed to fix my projector. It is also an old Sony but a different model, but there were the same timer IC in the PSU. I changed it and also most of the caps. After that, it started up fine.
I got a little Epson but it's picture went a bit yellow, I wonder if it's the bulb? I have an LED model Optoma that is only 700 lumens but the picture shows up much whiter and brighter should I just throw it away?
If it's changed tint, it's not the bulb; chances are, it's an LCD panel failure. Display a color wheel or bar pattern and look for missing colors. If one color is missing, red, green, or blue, you have a panel issue. Even a bulb that's at the brink of failure shouldn't affect the tint: only the brightness would be affected.
I also got freebie but someone was messing with irongun around that chip... Do you maybe have some picture of board or scheme or anything... If you or anyone have it please share it with me.
I have the same projector, needing the same repair. Are these the correct parts: Shindengen MCZ3001D chip, 2200uf 10v capacitor, and 820uf 5v capacitor ?
@@DeaconHaymond It doesnt matter if the voltage rating of the cap is higher. In my I could not find the correct value for one of the caps so I soldered two in parallell, making almost (
They are great projectors. Does you organisation use 4:3 or 16:10 screens, I personally love the 16:10 aspect ratio and wish screen company's would make more of them and smart boards would too.
Hi. I have the same projector with the following problem: The cover that protects the lens remains open, the leveler is not activated and it does not light the lamp that is new, I think it is for this reason that the ignition cycle does not continue; indicating a problem with the flickering lights (lamp / cover). Please how can I fix this problem. Thank you very much
Dear this projector is equipped with the sensor, which is placed bottom of the projector. You can simply understand , beside the lens. If it will not close properly so automatic parts will not operate. Even you can check indication ORANGE COLOUR light as well. that's mean there is something issue or somthing is not fitted properly
hi. I really need some advice. I have an asus x401a laptop. When I charge it, it does charge, but gets stuck at particular percentages. I charged it today and it stuck at 79%. pls could u tell me if u think it may be the battery or something? the charger is working fine; and the transformer is making no abnormal noises, so I don't know what else it could be.please can u help?thanks also
Hi! Good to hear from you! The issue is likely a failing battery. Most laptop batteries begin to lose their capacity after the first year. Some laptop manufacturers offer a battery calibration utility which will often help match the capacity shown on screen with the actual capacity of the battery, but I looked, and I did not see one for your laptop. Best of luck!
hey maybe u can help me i bought a projector and the fuse in the back blew idk if its a slw blow or a fast acting fuse and idk what amp but i do no its 250 v 5x20
They wouldn't use a slow-blow fuse in something like that, so a fast-acting is what you want. generally fuses only blow when there's a serious problem with the device... possibly a faulty rectifier, or worse. I wouldn't keep my hopes up.
I do have a couple of suggestions as to what you could use. Actually, I use VideoPad, but I'm not sure if that actually uses GPU rendering or not. I do also have the old Windows Live Essentials 2012 offline installer if you want that for Movie Maker.
I have a EPSON PROJECTOR V230 hope y'all guys can help me ... The power button is lit solid blue / lamp/ temp/ light or not blinking at all it's not turning on what can I do
I've had similar issues with a few of my PL 108s and they've all been covered under warranty. I assume your bulb isn't blown, and the lens shutter is open?

Thanks for another great video, and congratulations on your dumpster score.
Oh. I found another one with the same problem a while ago. Decided to bin it back then.
18:56, man that looks awesome...
its only been used for 27 days worth of time.
Plz help me my everycom x9 projector power doesnt work and how to check power board.
i assume you already know this but heating up old solder is much easier if you add some fresh solder.
Yes, I mentioned this but ended up tearing out the audio. The actual soldering process was heavily edited.
projectors are amazing. NEC make the best though! my nec m300w projector is great will have to set up back up as I miss it 😂
Nice video!
9:05 music?
Randomly generated music. Nothing you can buy or download anywhere.

Pretty much.
I found both the chip and the 10v capacitor online-- where can you find a 820uf 5v capacitor?

projector read sd cards?
Dear BBISHOPPCM, what would you charge me were I to send you our office's projector for this same replacement and repair?
I'm sorry, but I do not offer that type of service. It's quite easy to do yourself though.
21:16 What model of projector is that? looks like an NEC M300W.
Sounds about right

I honestly have no idea. Ironically, I just took mine out of service YESTERDAY! It works great, but I decided to go with a new Epson projector.

what software are you editing on on PC?
I think he said in another video that he uses Pinnacle but I'm not sure if he still uses that
Pinnacle. But I don't recommend it to anyone. I'm going to find another alternative.
