Well, Harold owned the Leafs for eighteen seasons. Were above .500 seven of those seasons. The most games they won were 41 in 77/78. One of the .500 seasons was 89/90, with Ballard barely there. He broke apart a promising team and the Leafs were below .500 all of the 1980s. Excuses? Well, all Ballard cared about was selling out. In 87/88, a playoff game didn't sell out.
