He's one of the greatest actors there are now. I will never forget him in Whiplash.
agreed, he should have an emmy for that one...
He was fantastic in whiplash
@@Mani-aX Oscar you mean
Oooooh right that's where he was from
I am going to have to watch that movie now. Hadn't really seen him in anything before Top Gun.
This movie literally brings back my confidence in American Cinema that I haven't seen in well over 10 years
What? One single sequel is all it takes?
@@burntvirtue most sequels suck. Thanks for confirming my feelings on the matter
Don't get to excited. It's back to CGI and marvel movies, now
But Joker?
@@BenGmanUk he did say American cinema. Joker is a fictional character who’s only assessment we can use is mostly psychological. Who is also not ..American? Where is Gotham city?
Miles Teller is an amazing actor.
Whiplash
War Dogs
Bleed for This
And now Top Gun. He doesn't get enough credit.
He’s doing great on “the offer”
Footloose!!!
He’s amazing in footloose too! ☺️
He’s actually hysterical in that party movie Project X as well
Don’t forget “Only the Brave”. Such a fantastic film
I'm so glad he was cast as Goose's son, they kinda point it out in a few flashbacks but it was perfect casting. Also, subtle nod to UAVs as part of the plot point was smart to bring the movie into 21st century and, at same time, prove why they're not quite ready... especially compared to Tom piloting the aircraft.
What do you mean they kind of point it out? They make it a blatantly stated fact as part of the main story line.
@@camerondelafuente8716 Clips nearly matching their looks shot for shot.
@@R__K I know what you are talking about. For example, the piano Great Balls of Fire scene.
@MangoMash that scene hits hard
I cried when Tom stopped at the window. Great movie.
That was a good flashback
I think it was the hot dog with onions I was eating for me...
4:20 for the diet tips
thanks!
I've been a fan of Miles for quite a long time. Very underrated. Hope to see more great movies from him in the near future.
yes i agree incredibly underrated only the brave footloose and now a sequel to top gun ...miles is a star
What a movie, totally blew me away today. Thanks Miles for your great performance.
Great interview! I really liked him in Whiplash, but this movie really proved he is a major deal. Saw it for the 2nd time and loved it more that the first. The storyline was great and Miles did an amazing job as Rooster. Hope this movie gets best picture of the year!
Loved the movie too, but Best Picture? Will never happen because action movies like this never get that award
@@oaktree1628 hoping this one will be the first. It had a great story line. No doubt Lady Gaga is gonna win for Best Song. Great song!
It's a blockbuster film, this will truly get an academy award ✌ Talk to me Goose!
Miles seems like such a chill guy. Would love to get a brew with him.
Well that’s never going to happen
@@zezeison never say never
He dresses up and plays pretend pretty well. He could probably pretend to be having a good time over a brew. 😁
@@tb2324 wow
"Well you seem pretty fit" 😬🤦♀️😂
And the reporter is like "yes!"
I died.
Having to "not do it again" definitely pushed me through Navy flight school too. Very relatable
Hes had a few cocky and/or crass interviews but Miles comes across very likeable, relaxed, and personable in this one.
He might of grown more humble since those older interviews
"This guy needs an ego check"
The only bad interview I can remember is the Esquire one and that felt like a set up, he always came across as a stand up guy
I think he likes working in making the movies but do not enjoy the interview part, it's understandable not every actor loves interviews
Loved him since in Footloose, he’s definitely a house hold star name with Top Gun. 💗 it’s great seeing him evolve. 🙌🏻
He is just the nicest!!! The moment he realised the interviewer covers more of the dieting and exercising aspect in movies he gave a longer and more detailed explanation of his process!!!!
Classy interview gentlemen! Great movie. Exceeded all expectations.
We’re glad you enjoyed it!
Loved him footloose and only the brave, definitely such a good choice for Top Gun he was so good in the role the played! ☺️
They started filming in 2018/19 in San Diego, but the local media didn't have anything on theocal news. They wanted to keep it low key until it's time. I only learned that they were making the new Top Gun in December 2019 during my Midway museum visit. The volunteers mentioned Tom was there at the Midway. I understand the ending, how they landed the jets, because of the many live presentations by real retired military volunteers explained the technical aspects next to the equipment. Once the presentation was made by real life GOOSE 🙂
original release date was December of 2019
That was a really solid interview 👍🏼
Interesting to hear the exercise and nutrition tips.
The beach scene was gorgeous..thank you for that !!! 😉
Always will be my favorite actor. From That Awkward Moment to War Dogs to Whiplash to this 😍
solid interview dawg you can tell he was comfortable w u
Got through flight school at New River bulking to 213 lbs, came to Miramar and now I’m 180 lbs at 13 pbf enjoying SD beaches with my issued aviators. Constant running on the flightline, gym after a 14 hour day and lean dieting is definitely the key. Breakfast is always a protein shake with egg whites and before flights it’s always sushi. If you know you know
He’s very knowledgeable on this part 06:11
I missed seeing him. So glad he’s in this movie!
Easily one of the most gifted actors. He will go from strength to strength
Buena entrevista, c me hizo corta
I hate the movie theater and I'm ready to go see it again already
Loved it
Amazing movie!! Imax was crazyy
Very underrated guy, i really like him in Bleed for this!
criminally underrated actor
Great interview questions
this guy has always been a star. every role he takes he kills.
Except for Fant4stic
WOW! I could definitely benefit from a trainer like Miles had! Awesome movie with awesome actors.
and some hormones
Interviewer did a good job 👍
Thank you!
Great casting!
he was also great in the offer
I like the way this guy interviews.
Thanks Samantha
Chicken, Broccoli, and rice, never heard that one before 😂
Am I the only one who watched the movie and now has a huge crush on rooster lol ❤️😭
Tom LEADS by Example👊🏻🥇
What a film! Better than the original 🤯
Glad they could both dress up for the interview. :)
😂👍🏻 interviewer showed up in his sleeping gear.
addicted 🥺
Totally awesome movie good job gentlemen
I’m believable movie
Love these guys and the ladies😍
Cool actor
Be cool to seen him in more
Awesome movies like top gun
😎👍
This movie is hands down one of my favourite sequels of all time. I'd even go as far as to say it’s my favourite
Woah that's super interesting about the coke, I knew the water trick, some folks use...
The coke trick works. Doesn’t have to be coke, can be any sugar. Happens every time I switch from cutting to maintenance. You tighten up for about 1-3 days then kind of go back to normal.
I feel like Miles doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves from the vast majority of people. This interviewer did a great job but I just have to say, Miles is the fucking man and if he keeps on the track he’s on he will be revered like Tom in the future.
There are Top Gun, military people, marines giving this movie incredible reviews!!!! That is unbelievable!!!!
Especially since marines often call them the “Chair Force”
@@ChocolatMudBaby No. These are navy pilots. The chairforce is what non-flyers calm the Air Force.

He was on that Hollywood diet, "chicken, rice & broccoli".
Waiting for Derrick to review this
Chicken, broccoli and potato this time! What a revelation.

This coke trick sounds interesting but I’m gonna take it one step further and drink a coke every day. I’ll be so ripped
Check with your doctor
Good one 😂
Haha! I’m gonna try it, too!
He looks exhausted
Loved the movie. Miles is a great as well. Does anybody in Hollywood know what 7% body fat looks like?😂 he was shredded but not 7%
Really does depend on their weight too, if you’re like 215 7% would look like 14. So it really does depend.
@@troyhanley he was far from 7%.
@@troyhanleyTell that to an Olympian bodybuilder.. 7% bodyfat is 7% bodyfat regardless of weight.

Nice to see the interviewer get dressed up😒

I thought the same thing.🙄
Bro just rolled out if bed for this one
See this movie on the big screen.
Are they doing this interview while their clothes are in the wash?
Did they conduct this interview at the laundrymat?
Yes. The washing machines are just out of shot

Honest question. Is the interviewer a work experience guy?
Miles Teller best film is 21 and over
Whiplash
21 and Over wasn't even funny.
This guy is seriously a force to be reckoned with. The next all star actor like Tom Cruise mark my words!
Uh, not even close lmao wtf
Looks and sounds like john cusack
What are the actors going to say? Tom is a tool? No. These questions are stupid.
Its 99% rotten tomato fyi
Refreshing an actor admitting to the Hollywood steroids. “ Everything Hugh Jackman was doing”.
Lol Miles wasn’t on roids. I don’t think any of them were
@@ChadKirk I tend to think he, and at-least hangman were. He seemed to gain a lot of lean weight, very quickly. And hangman has seemed to lose weight after the movie.
I remember few times, when I was training 5 times a day, running 7 miles in the morning, lifting weights twice a day, football and martial arts training everyday. When I had to cut that back, for periods where I had to work 18 hours a day, or go to school and work, taking up to 16 hours a day, I didn’t shrink like these actors seem to do, but gained fat weight. My appetite and caloric intake was naturally the same, but wasn’t burning it off, with working out like before.
But gaining muscle, seems to take years, rather than weeks.
Anyway, could be wrong, but just my opinion.
@@jaeger251 agree fully. The steroid balloon inflate and deflate is prominent in Hollywood.
After decades of lifting, I broke my leg. No training and same as you gained weight.
@@jaeger251 I think there a ton of factors that you have to consider. Like work ethic, discipline, lifestyle, genetics, etc. Personally I try to be careful with putting a cap on what I think naturally may be possible or not, just because I feel like some people underestimate their own potential and if you think you can’t achieve more you could hold yourself back from making more progress. And even if something may seem unrealistic, doesn’t necessarily mean impossible for everyone. Just my thoughts.
@@cgfitnessandarboriculture no doubt about it. You are exactly right in a lot of what you said.
I used to think a lot like you, because when I was a 15 year old kid in high school, I was accused of taking steroids, when I first benched over 300lbs, then 335lbs, the following year, and 385 senior year. None of which, is really that much.
So when I saw other kids, bench pressing 440lbs, squatting 600, and even 700lbs, I would be skeptical of people accusing them of steroid abuse.
But at some point, common sense has to kick in, and these actors, who have no background in anything, that would create the character, and emotional and physical pain tolerance to workout hard enough to make the differences we see on the screen, of what they looked like a few weeks prior. Never mind the fact, that a lot of what they do, is basically biologically impossible without drugs.
Look, I know what you are saying, I’m just highly skeptical.
His role in top-gun maverick push many people watch top-gun 1 to get the history of goose.
TF? Who hasn't seen top gun one?
Let me guess chicken breasts and broccoli...
He would’ve looked more like Elvis
Yes! Once you said that I though *definitely* he has the perfect face to look like Elvis.
Did they plan to match clothes or ?
