- Clerics don't like harmful spells or creatures and use their abilities to protect each other from these things. Create an impenetrable wall of clerics that will resist all kinds of monsters and rise again in zombie form if they are somehow defeated. This deck plays as a semi Death and Taxes style deck with a huge number of options available to it with lots of added protection from... effects thrown in for good measure.

I love Clerics. I’m working on a Cleric Edh deck with a lot of premodern cards at the moment. Call it Clerical Error.
Aha awesome. I often wonder if I should start a new channel making commander deck techs but I don't really play the format anymore.
@@IPlayMagic Since I can’t find anyone to play premodern with and I can’t stand playing through web cam, I’ve been building premodern commander decks. I just finished a premodern Cabal Patriarch deck. It adds a challenge to constructing an edh deck for sure.
very underrated tribe in my opinion. I have a friend at my LGS who plays the monowhite version. It is awesome!
Yeah it's a cool and interesting archetype. I'm sure we will see more people playing these decks when the format is a bit bigger as most people seem to start with the nostalgic decks first.

Big fan of white weenies. There are certainly a lot of great white creatures in premodern to choose from.
I didn’t know clerics were an option in this format. Makes me want to build both a clerics and a zombie deck… although I already have two mono black decks and two mono white decks. I may have a problem, and your videos may be making this problem worse 😅….. but I do like seeing my premodern basic lands being used in decks…🤔
Yeah that also happened to me when I built white weenie and then thought may as well build clerics too and then that I should probably also build zombies as I have some of the cards already 😂

Your videos are awesome! How about a sideboard video for each color + brown? Would probably be a lot of work but would be nice for newer players to see.
Thanks for the support and glad you enjoy the videos. I think premodern has too many decks to properly do a sideboard guide as it would take a super long time to do even the top decks. it's not as simple as doing it by colour either unfortunately as for example stasis, show and tell, merfolk and mono blue stiflenaut are all blue decks but are completely different. I think I will make a video about how to sideboard in general as a lot of people seem to want that but unfortunately I wont be able to do individual guides for each deck.

Not totally sure about the payoffs concerning rector and how many, thought about 2 or 3 in the main. The other advantage is how easy you can adapt with a flexible sideboard and you play no artifact so free null rods
@@RRTVCarbozo Definitely an interesting idea, ive seen another list similar to this one once before but without scion. I like the idea of playing scion but I would imagine it really depends on the matchup if it's good or not. Are there any other game ending enchantments? you could try some value enchantments like phyrexian arena, parallax wave and the disenchant enchantments etc as a kind of value versions with cards that you can play if you draw them. But im not really sure. It looks cool though

Mono black clerics is very budget friendly and very strong. I just top 16ed the February monthly with it going 6-0 in the Swiss. I will be uploading the gameplay and deck techs over the next few weeks
