As a huge Dravid fan growing up, the Lord's century means a lot to me. I arrived at my home from college and Rahul Sir was batting and had a score of 30. Every run from then was a delight to watch. Even though it was hard to see the other batsmen fail on a very tough wicket, watching Rahul Sir maintain his concentration and reach this century was absolutely one of the best days of my life. Can't describe the moment when he fist pumps and roars. Goosebumps!! This whole tour was a treat to watch. Scoring all those hard centuries in the Test matches, his T20 Debut where he hit 3 sixes in a row and then being called back for the ODI side where he retired by finishing off with a half century. Wow. I wish I could erase these memories, go back and relive them again. RD Forever

Rahane is lucky enough to get a place in test squad despite repititive failures from past 2 years. How can he get selected in odi squad god knows. Along with technique he needs to score runs which is lacking in him and his statistics shows his decline. I wonder why people back him despite his repetitive failures

I remember I was very busy that day and I could not watch it live on TV..But when I heard Rahul Dravid has scored a century in Lord's, I was filled with joy and emotion and literally cried inside. Now I have lost count of how many times I have watched the highlights of that innings..

I was the one who hated hated him during childhood... Always complained about his strike rate. Little did I know it was more aggressive to stand tall against 140-150 kph and defend the ball right under the nose I was always fond of boundaries, but the new matured 24 old me started realising that test cricket was a war and Dravid was Hercules. Best among the best. And from since I have respected him the most, comes from my own town of Bengaluru. ♥️ And recent performance of Indian batters made me realise this once more... How bad I miss Jammy no-one knows better... Much love for you wall.

Sachin Tendulkar did make a hundred (125) at Lord's for Princess Diana memorial match MCC Vs ROW XI in July 1998. But that was counted as unofficial match.
