From a cautionary standpoint you had really better know exactly where the lifting points on your vehicle are. Especially if it's not a body on frame rail assembly. Breaking a unicar (frameless) undercarriage will get really expensive when the body shop sees what you did... your insurance adjustor might total it if it's too distorted and the cost of repair exceeds the value of the car. Otherwise, it's a great way to lift using the Archimedes principle of "Give me a lever long enough and I can lift the world " ... this idea would be just the thing for lifting a lawn tractor for a quick blade change.

i've seen plenty of people shake their heads at "lifting points". they always learn the hard way.
that car's rocker panels/pinch weld are gonna get mauled by the edge and the insurance company will happily use cosmetic damage as an excuse to total it.
a solution i can think of would be to use a tubular section and a rotating foot to distribute the weight across a larger area than the point, so that it can be lifted without issue

Pretty neat as long as that steel beam under the vehicle doesnt catch on something under the car and break it. Also, you could make rounded corners instead of sharp 90°s where the steel hinges against the concrete, and cover the rounded corners with old tire treads or something to give it grip and not scratch the concrete. I would weld gussets in the corners also for strength. Cool video

Motorcycle racers use the same type lifts that actually have small wheels mounted in the angle to protect the concrete and provide a better leveraged lift. The design is already perfected and works better than your suggestion here.
You can use two of these devices to easily lift the complete motorcycle off of the ground while keeping it stabilized. It would be the same for this car using a similar engineered lift.
Look it up, it works great- I have two.

Put wheels on the point that’s touching the ground when it’s about to lift it will allow it to slide down flat on the ground much safer

Brilliant starting point but gusset/triangulate the joints in your fame for safety, and add pads or a fabricate pinch seam catch cradle on a pivot to protect the unibody rails from distortion and you've got an amazing, simple, and reliable inexpensive car lift solution.
I wouldn't use the corner of a beam against either the pinch seams or the unibody rails.

Simple but brilliant. My 11 yo explained it’s one of the simple machines. The lever.
