- Similar to the autonomous convenience store (ACVS) I posted a few days ago, this supermarket doesn’t have any cashier or staff on duty.

At least have price tags on the rack, having to scan everytime to check the price is not convenient.

proof of concept, the kicker will be when you walk in your biometric/facial recognition will then register, all the items will have a RFID tag and then you just load up, and walk out. The act of exiting the store with items will automatically deduct the purchase items from your Crypto Currency wallet. Eesy peesy and oh so convenient. Coming to a Coles near you, 2020.....

China has probably the best state surveillance system in the world, believe me they know your full identity as soon as you enter that store via facial recognition technology.😂

@@esoekidjo you need a phone to access that supermarket, besides antisocial behavior like shoplifting that's prevalent in the West and elsewhere is not common in China, notice also the absence of litter, graffiti, loutish drunken behavior,etc in all of these CZcams videos on China, one of the perks of living in an authoritarian state I suppose!😂

How will the store catch a cheater? pretends to scan the item and then goes away with the item? How does the.store.makes sure that all items brought outside were paid?
What if you have a large cart of groceries? How do you scan each item?

What a headache it would take me forever to shop like that. There's always the possibility that your phone will screw up. No way I would shop in a place like that. It takes way longer to shop like that then interact with a cashier or self-scan check out. Not only does it put people out of jobs but it tracks everything you buy it's a headache for the Shopper and it's just a precursor to the mark of the beast.

I just watched a video uploaded by another youtuber Jeery Kowal in Shanghai, China. He drank a bottle of drink without taking it out, but he is still charged, lol. The technology is very smart.

Rubbish idea. This will cause unemployment. Destroying job of hundreds of people is not a good idea at all.
who wants to be a cashier anyway? open intellectual work paths like engineering or coding A.I. instead of focusing and opening the path to be cashiers, automated stores are the future, amazon is already doing it and i will also invest into it ;)
