I bet men were commenting on this scene cause every woman that saw this scene probably was like I know you lying....inviting Esme to eat with yall." NAC did that scene well 👏🏾 👏🏾 cause he got everybody up in arms, thinking he needs to get an MRI and check his head.
I think it is so sweet! Their story is so tender and so endearing! Takes me back to my one true love!! I miss his touch and the way he always looked at me! He melted me! Just like Spencer does when he is with Trina!!❤❤
I would just like to say I really do appreciate your positivity, as well as some others, related to Sprina. Not like these were real ppl lol but I think it’s a credit to the actors that we feel so passionately about them. So thanks for giving your perspective! He knows the real Esme is still in there bc honestly he acted like he forgot.

Did anybody ever stop to think that VICTOR KNEW that Spencer would "end up with Trina" and CONTINUE the Cassadine lineage... And THAT'S why he saved the Doves for his Will. Technically speaking, Victor could've tossed the Doves in the garbage, left them on the table at the restaurant, gave them away to someone else, or disposed of them by some other means - BUT... HE... DIDN'T !!! I just WONDER if Spencer ever gives ANY THOUGHT about that, and WHY his Uncle did what he did ? 🤔😕
That’s very true. Ace was the obvious family member he would need to be able to protect. But including the doves with the key to the safety deposit box does hint that he thought his nephew would make her family in the future. Only part that doesn’t line up is how Victor talked about Trina at the start of the HS saga. But writing hasn’t been very consistent on this show so who’s to know.
Victor knew Trina was the one for Spencer, that Nikolas was too much of a “boy” to be a good partner to Ava and that Anna would encourage Valentine to be a better man and separate himself from his worst behavior…He actually had a great read on all the Cassadine men’s love lives. Even his own; he knew Liesl didn’t want his ass 😂 It’s crazy that in hindsight, Victor might’ve been the only man (Besides Sonny) in Spencer’s life who genuinely loved him and was willing to put the time into molding him. The problem was that he was cartoonishly evil and Spencer’s rejection of his world domination plan made him “the enemy” at the end. And yes, I would love for Spencer to reflect a little on WHY Victor gave him those doves…to a point, I feel like he has. How could he not? He’s giving you a stack of evidence calling esme the enemy, and the key is in a box with a gift meant for a woman he knows you love…..I have to believe that Spencer understands the correlation.
I really enjoyed these scenes. I think some people are missing how Spencer proved that Trina is the only one he wants and has feelings for, because the words didn’t come from him. The doves represent a matched pair, and they belong together. Trina said the words, but Spencer giving her the doves represents that he understands their significance. He just had her say the words. It’s how some people need to come to a conclusion on their own. I can tell you something, but it may be easier for you to believe if you connect the dots yourself. Hopefully this makes sense
Yes, exactly! I totally agree! Many people seem to be let down by this scene but I enjoyed it! It wasn’t how or why he gave it to her but it was the fact that he finally gave it to her, knowing what that signifies.
Its a soap. Without romance and fantasy, its just bad optics. Its missing a crucial soap trope, which is the romance of it all and we are just making excuses at this point 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Trina’s increased pov lately has been a breath of fresh air. I liked the banter at the end of the episode as well…the gifting of the doves was underwhelming. I had expected that to be more meaningful, instead it felt like a throw away… I said I’d give the ficore/scab writers to the end of the month before making a decision on my commitment around the show and that’s what I’ll do. We know some good things are coming up based on the fall preview and spoilers. There’s a spoiler about a night that will change their lives forever. I’m hoping that’s a reference to not just sex, but a positive change in their story. I think the show really has done themselves a disservice by not pivoting off this baby storyline. I have yet to see anyone (Sprina fan or not) who likes it. But kudos to Taby and NAC for their dedication. They’ve done so much to keep ppl watching and the show doesn’t get that.
I agree the gifting of the doves was underwhelming… I also don’t see how it’s proof that he only has feelings for her. 🤷♀️ (But it’s a TV show and I’m likely overthinking it.)

Frankly, they just didn’t do a good of connecting why the doves would prove she’s the only person for him. He didn’t explain it well. At best, he kind of explained that it was something he kept for her and would think about her when he looked at them. But they didn’t dive into a deeper meaning or the symbolism behind doves specifically…tbh, it felt like the writers had to incorporate the doves and didn’t have a full understanding of why the audience would be invested in her having them.
@nfgc86, Taby & NAC are above any of the other actors, they are unique. They take this situation and still hit it out of the park. SPRINA fans do not like this, and other fans do not like this. Spencer knows his girl and he saw the look on her face with the doves and she asked what it mean. He thought he could have gotten her something nicer. He knew Trina had that look when she gets mad at him. Spencer also knew that Trina had been holding onto things and now he knows he got to step up or step down in this relationship.

Initially, I was extremely annoyed with the way Spencer just carelessly handed Trina the doves. Especially after waiting 9 months for it to happen. However, once he framed it in the context of where they came from (his criminal great uncles), it makes sense that the doves wouldn't have the significance that we all may have wanted them to. I personally was hoping that the doves would be a catalyst for the 'I love you's' and them making love for the first time. But while Trina did seem appreciative of the gift and touched that he thought of her while in prison, it's not like he personally picked them out and they held some special significance only to the two of them. That being said, I am happy that Spencer took Trina's feelings seriously enough to initiate the gesture of reassurance for her. Hopefully, he now sees the necessity in prioritizing Trina and propelling their relationship to the next level.
Either Esme will have moved out, Trina and Joss would have moved into Maxie’s place or he gets a hotel at the metro court. Why does Spencer act like a poor college student anyway? He knew Esme was there. They could have gone out to dinner or had a picnic in the park. So silly that they only have scenes in the apartment he shares with Esme or the pool in the building where she works. They could have even met at the art gallery. It was probably closed.

Y’all, after watching these scenes multiple times, I realize I don’t hate them. Yes, the writing has changed for Sprina but it’s not just them. The whole show feels different. But by the end Sprina, with their banter, still felt like Sprina (thanks to the actors).
Exactly! I enjoyed the scenes as well, but why have they been kissing more closed mouth lately? Is someone sick or something? Or has there been a Covid scare lately. When I saw Joss and Dex kiss on the docks when talking about Sonny did a closed mouth kiss and we know how they go all in.
I wanted spencer to explain more about why he didn't give Trina the doves back in December. Just saying....the restaurant scene would have been nice to be included in the script when she was with Rory.
I know Spencer and Esme are living in the same place and taking care of Ace , but he should be allowed to have guests over. Just tell her you are expecting a guest and would like some privacy . This is what roommates do. She actually realized this and made herself scarce(shocker). Especially after Portia talked to him about Trina having to be around E. I also believe this room at Kelly's is her way guilting him because she and Ace are not his top priority . I guess it is not enough he spends most of his time with them.The old E is showing herself.
Spencer had told Esme before, and she kept interrupting him and Trina with Ace and where his blinky or whatever that toy was. She knows but this time he should have told her that Trina was coming over and could she take Ace and go to the restaurant. She only realized when she saw that go-to-hell look on Trina's face. If she had stayed, Trina would have walked out or got onto Spencer.
Like always this show favors Spencer at the expense of Trina.Because Trina got some doves she’s just suppose to accept Spencer putting Ace over her. He is so concerned about old Esme returning and doing something to Ace but not Trina who already has been hurt by Esme. I am so tired of this black woman sacrificing for this privileged white man. My girl Trina hit on target 🎯 with the stone facial expression. That's the look you give your man when he ain't acting right. Spencer you can't just tell Trina that you have to also set Esme straight. You're not her boyfriend or baby daddy. Esme will revert shortly because this is the second time she has made that comment to Ace. She hates Trina and wants her gone no telling what she will try to do to her this time around.

Spencer and Trina just are not the same anymore the dialogue is very dull and nothing about them feels exciting anymore. I think gh has underwent too many changes this year from Jackie zeman dying to Haley pullos problems with the law and the writers strike after Greenland around April of this year too many things have changed. I think the replacement writers are trying to fix the situation but it may not be possible. This sprina scene could have been way better and the part where sprina kissed seems like a blink and you miss scene 😂😂
This real sweet and everything , but Spencer still gives Esme TOO much credit . Esme talked so badly about him, what she did to Joss and Trina. He is giving her two thumbs up for what ? OK, this was sweet. Yes, he does know that the real Esme is still lurking out there somewhere . Hopefully ,we will get to see more of them like this . Rather than Esme lurking pretending to be "nice Esme". Because there is no such thing .
He is trying to get Esme to let her guard down when she thinks the snacks are for them (see how happy she is). Trina comes in and it was meant for Spencer & Trina. Spencer invited her but Esme saw that Trina was not having it at all. I hope she is getting the feeling that Spencer is crazy about Trina and that he never lavishes her that way. Spencer has to be careful because Esme is the fragile one and not Trina. There is a ticking bomb in her head, and she is ready to go off.
At this point I hope Trina don't be that foolish to marry selfish Spencer, before that happens he needs to change and start acting like a sensible caring man.

I think you two have both summed up the dilemma of Spencer. He is a scared little boy who has known rejection most of his life or his perceived rejection. The first time he opened himself up and was vulnerable with his heart he found out that the girl was using him. How does he know Trina really loves him, especially after hearing Rory declare his love to her and not knowing how she had truly felt about him?! So, of course, he doesn’t want to be the first one to say it.

I agree that Spencer is terrified of being vulnerable. He said himself that Laura has been his only constant. Nicholas has done nothing but hurt Spencer over and over again! When your own parent treats you like that, why would you expect or trust anyone else to love you unconditionally? Even though Trina has proven time and again that SHE is that person, Spencer remains insecure in it. I think he loves her so much that he's afraid her possible rejection would destroy him. That's why he constantly needs to "hear her say the words." As far as Esme... When Spencer came back to Port Charles, he was a brat, and he pulled a bunch of crap! His love for Trina has made him want to be a better man. We have all witnessed the change in him. Unfortunately, Esme is a beneficiary of this changed man as well. We might all still hate her and want her to vanish, but the 'new and improved' Spencer respects her as the mother of his little brother despite admitting that the real Esme could resurface one day. I do agree that he could be a little more sensitive of Trina's feelings and not put her in a position to have to be around Esme all the time.
Laura's apartment isn't a great place for romance it s a bad choice in this case.....i saw the concrete way sabotaging sprina (i see you writers and FV they aren't subtle about it with this kind of direction specifically with Spencer's attitude). Really....it s predictable and inappropriate place to make a romantic gesture (dumb idea in fact overall with Esme in this area (no way). Spencer is behaved like a fool with trina, really a dinner with 3 persons (himself, esme "his ex girlfriend ", trina"recent girlfriend " it s an awkward situation). For me, it s a cringy moment and i haven't any pleasure to heard or see esme with sprina it s deja vu facts and i m sick of it. But if NAC/TA are doing well their job, writers are wasting everything like usual.
Spencer, you have a smart girlfriend in Trina, and she is waiting for you to say I love you Trina and she will follow you. Trina dribbled the ball back to Spencer and I bet he is thinking about this conversation.

The doves are finally free! I expected the gifting of the doves to be more dramatic, but I’m not upset about how they were given. You can see that Spencer’s trying not to be so over the top, and yet you can see how much the gesture meant to him by how nervous he was. Esme remains a problem, but I think Spencer keeps on as he does because she genuinely is of no consequence to him beyond Ace. (Though the writers made a clumsy choice in having Spencer invite her to stay for dinner as the catalyst to push Trina to open up IMHO, especially since he’s actively tried to keep Esme away from Trina.) It’s clear the writers aren’t giving them everything all at once, but I think that’s a good thing. The doves are big, but they aren’t the big payoff!
I didn’t mind the invite for her to stay - especially as he said bring Ace. It was kinda foul that he didn’t just tell her that Trina was coming over in the first place. It felt like at least one of them were being treated like the side chick… 🥴 whether it be intentional or not.
I am glad that Spencer let Trina know that she is the one he wants. He should have slipped in the I love you. Every time he looks at Esme, he will see his dad banging her and that would be a turn off to him and nasty.
Yeah Spencer inviting Esme to stay did provide the opportunity for Trina to say her part. Which has been long over due. I’ve said this on previous posts but I need to shift my expectations. I was anticipating the same intensity with them once they returned from Greenland. However that’s not the case and they’re just like every other couple on the show. I’m still invested as the story is moving along. Hopefully Nick will come back during sweeps and get his child and marry Esme or something bc although babies that play Ace are great this baby stuff needs to end lol.

Spencer doesn't realize that Esme is still manipulating him in her own amnesia way. I'm glad that he told Trina that there's nothing going on between them romantically ( at least not for him) plus that Trina is the only one he wants to be with. Him giving her the doves to me seemed kind of pointless I know he didn't give it right away because at the time she was dating Rory, and he didn't know how she truly felt about him. When Cyrus gave him the doves he said to Spencer that he could have one and give Trina the other , so I don't get why Trina is the one telling him that they could each keep one as a reminder that they belong together ( he should have told her that). What exactly are they? when she was taking them out the box it looked like little statues. Honestly I think that Spencer should have gotten her a piece of jewlery instead to show her how he truly feels about her. A bracelet or a necklace would be really nice. Maybe soon!? I read that turtle doves symbolizes love, loyalty, and devotion.
Trina seems to be the one making the important couple decisions. She wants Spencer to make those romantic moves , but he remains intimidated and hesitant. Trina wants Spencer's love and affection. He wants her, but he sees her as fragile. She has to let him know she's ready. Again!!😊❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥

Tbh Im honestly excited to see what is in store for Sprina. I feel like they are getting some good material coming around the corner. I can see the temp writers are trying to turn things around. Its not an overnight process. I hate Esme with a passion however I understand that they had to get Trina to that point to voice more of her pov to Spencer which is what I’ve been wanting to see and I think we will get more. I also feel that there is this real high expectation placed on these 20 something year olds to get it right all of the time. I have to remind myself of that to☺️. No relationship or character on this show is perfect and I want to see Sprina work through these challenges as a couple which in the end will make them stronger. FOR ME I wasn’t that upset with these scenes and Im looking forward to what is next with Sprina. And to those who say Trina is giving those doves back…you wish lol.

I was thinking the same thing! Jason and Sam had those little dragon figurines or was it? I remember two small figurines but I can’t remember what it was. It had a deep meaning as well.
I'm glad that Trina saved the scene. Spencer was floundering and forgot that turtle doves mean "together forever". Thank garland she knew and filled him in. I can see we're going to see Trina explode soon if Esme or Spencer doesn't move away from each other. Also, I was begging for that A4-G#4 grace note 🎶 to end in Trina saying 🤟🏻, but this was a touching near-miss for me. Spencer got caught with a mouthful of feet over Esme, but lady lucky for him, Trina saved the day.

I feel like sometimes Spencer gaslights Trina and kinda disregards some of her worries, whether he means too or not. Then he ramps up the charm and love eyes changing the subject. That’s just my observation but hopefully they can grow even closer with espadrille and ace maybe/ hopefully moving above Kelly’s
It really wasn’t. Instead of Spencer pouring his heart out, it was Trina who had to explain the significance of the doves. He still hasn’t told her he loves her. He’s supposed to be this super rich guy but he couldn’t buy her a true gift? He could’ve planned out a romantic date that was significant to them both. A picnic in the park, reservations at a restaurant or Ava’s art gallery? No he chooses the most basic date with his pseudo-baby mama in the next room. What a joke.
@@lisacox3750 I had a feeling this is where Sprina was headed after 2 years of build up. Not just because of the writers but mostly because of how they’ve written Spencer as a character. He’s not ready to be in a relationship with anyone. The writers have done a great job in showing that Sprina may be endgame but this isn’t their time. Starcrossed lovers rarely get a happy ending
@@loulou20200 lol now I’m starting to see why Spencer is lowkey the problem. When he was with Esme all of his attention went towards Trina. Now that he’s with Trina all of his attention is on Esme and company. Both females should’ve walked away instead of putting up with it.
Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I would have preferred for Spencer to have waited three more months to give Trina the turtle doves. It would have been closer to the time when she lost Rory and she and Spencer began to bond again. It would have been more significant. But at the speed Spencer and Esme are hanging out, Trina will be giving the dove back to Spencer by November sweeps.
The whole thing annoyed me. lol. The writers, of course, waited too long for this moment to happen. Now, I don't even care. And the delivery of the doves was so half-assed. But I keep trying to remember Spencer is only 19 or 20 and has had no real father to teach him how to be with women. He knows he needs to be romantic with Trina but does he know how to be?

From what I have see it’s split. There are longtime viewers, who loved the Spencer character as a child and still favor him, there are those that only like Trina and put with Spencer, and there are Tabby/NAC fans, individually and together. I wouldn’t say most women just like NAC’s good looks and as a result, disregard Spencer’s treatment of Trina. It’s kind of a cheap argument.

Only part that doesn’t line up is how Victor talked about Trina at the start of the HS saga. But writing hasn’t been very consistent on this show so who’s to know.
Victor knew Trina was the one for Spencer, that Nikolas was too much of a “boy” to be a good partner to Ava
and that Anna would encourage Valentine to be a better man and separate himself from his worst behavior…He actually had a great read on all the Cassadine men’s love lives. Even his own; he knew Liesl didn’t want his ass 😂
It’s crazy that in hindsight, Victor might’ve been the only man (Besides Sonny) in Spencer’s life who genuinely loved him and was willing to put the time into molding him. The problem was that he was cartoonishly evil and Spencer’s rejection of his world domination plan made him “the enemy” at the end.
And yes, I would love for Spencer to reflect a little on WHY Victor gave him those doves…to a point, I feel like he has. How could he not? He’s giving you a stack of evidence calling esme the enemy, and the key is in a box with a gift meant for a woman he knows you love…..I have to believe that Spencer understands the correlation.

I really enjoyed these scenes. I think some people are missing how Spencer proved that Trina is the only one he wants and has feelings for, because the words didn’t come from him. The doves represent a matched pair, and they belong together. Trina said the words, but Spencer giving her the doves represents that he understands their significance. He just had her say the words. It’s how some people need to come to a conclusion on their own. I can tell you something, but it may be easier for you to believe if you connect the dots yourself. Hopefully this makes sense

I admit I don’t watch the show regularly but enjoy these clips. The scene reminded me of Jason and Sam with the dove thing.
Trina’s increased pov lately has been a breath of fresh air. I liked the banter at the end of the episode as well…the gifting of the doves was underwhelming. I had expected that to be more meaningful, instead it felt like a throw away…
I said I’d give the ficore/scab writers to the end of the month before making a decision on my commitment around the show and that’s what I’ll do. We know some good things are coming up based on the fall preview and spoilers. There’s a spoiler about a night that will change their lives forever. I’m hoping that’s a reference to not just sex, but a positive change in their story. I think the show really has done themselves a disservice by not pivoting off this baby storyline. I have yet to see anyone (Sprina fan or not) who likes it. But kudos to Taby and NAC for their dedication. They’ve done so much to keep ppl watching and the show doesn’t get that.

Frankly, they just didn’t do a good of connecting why the doves would prove she’s the only person for him. He didn’t explain it well. At best, he kind of explained that it was something he kept for her and would think about her when he looked at them. But they didn’t dive into a deeper meaning or the symbolism behind doves specifically…tbh, it felt like the writers had to incorporate the doves and didn’t have a full understanding of why the audience would be invested in her having them.

@nfgc86, Taby & NAC are above any of the other actors, they are unique. They take this situation and still hit it out of the park. SPRINA fans do not like this, and other fans do not like this. Spencer knows his girl and he saw the look on her face with the doves and she asked what it mean. He thought he could have gotten her something nicer. He knew Trina had that look when she gets mad at him. Spencer also knew that Trina had been holding onto things and now he knows he got to step up or step down in this relationship.

Initially, I was extremely annoyed with the way Spencer just carelessly handed Trina the doves. Especially after waiting 9 months for it to happen. However, once he framed it in the context of where they came from (his criminal great uncles), it makes sense that the doves wouldn't have the significance that we all may have wanted them to.
I personally was hoping that the doves would be a catalyst for the 'I love you's' and them making love for the first time. But while Trina did seem appreciative of the gift and touched that he thought of her while in prison, it's not like he personally picked them out and they held some special significance only to the two of them.
That being said, I am happy that Spencer took Trina's feelings seriously enough to initiate the gesture of reassurance for her. Hopefully, he now sees the necessity in prioritizing Trina and propelling their relationship to the next level.
Spencer Needs To Do Better, Hopefully We Won't See Esme or Anyone Else Interrupting Their Privacy Next Week. 🙏💯
Either Esme will have moved out, Trina and Joss would have moved into Maxie’s place or he gets a hotel at the metro court. Why does Spencer act like a poor college student anyway? He knew Esme was there. They could have gone out to dinner or had a picnic in the park. So silly that they only have scenes in the apartment he shares with Esme or the pool in the building where she works. They could have even met at the art gallery. It was probably closed.

Y’all, after watching these scenes multiple times, I realize I don’t hate them. Yes, the writing has changed for Sprina but it’s not just them. The whole show feels different. But by the end Sprina, with their banter, still felt like Sprina (thanks to the actors).

Spencer and Trina just are not the same anymore the dialogue is very dull and nothing about them feels exciting anymore. I think gh has underwent too many changes this year from Jackie zeman dying to Haley pullos problems with the law and the writers strike after Greenland around April of this year too many things have changed. I think the replacement writers are trying to fix the situation but it may not be possible. This sprina scene could have been way better and the part where sprina kissed seems like a blink and you miss scene 😂😂

This real sweet and everything , but Spencer still gives Esme TOO much credit . Esme talked so badly about him, what she did to Joss and Trina. He is giving her two thumbs up for what ? OK, this was sweet. Yes, he does know that the real Esme is still lurking out there somewhere . Hopefully ,we will get to see more of them like this . Rather than Esme lurking pretending to be "nice Esme". Because there is no such thing .
He is trying to get Esme to let her guard down when she thinks the snacks are for them (see how happy she is). Trina comes in and it was meant for Spencer & Trina. Spencer invited her but Esme saw that Trina was not having it at all. I hope she is getting the feeling that Spencer is crazy about Trina and that he never lavishes her that way. Spencer has to be careful because Esme is the fragile one and not Trina. There is a ticking bomb in her head, and she is ready to go off.

As far as Esme... When Spencer came back to Port Charles, he was a brat, and he pulled a bunch of crap! His love for Trina has made him want to be a better man. We have all witnessed the change in him. Unfortunately, Esme is a beneficiary of this changed man as well.
We might all still hate her and want her to vanish, but the 'new and improved' Spencer respects her as the mother of his little brother despite admitting that the real Esme could resurface one day. Laura's apartment isn't a great place for romance it s a bad choice in this case.....i saw the concrete way sabotaging sprina (i see you writers and FV they aren't subtle about it with this kind of direction specifically with Spencer's attitude).
Really....it s predictable and inappropriate place to make a romantic gesture (dumb idea in fact overall with Esme in this area (no way). Spencer is behaved like a fool with trina, really a dinner with 3 persons (himself, esme "his ex girlfriend ", trina"recent girlfriend " it s an awkward situation).
For me, it s a cringy moment and i haven't any pleasure to heard or see esme with sprina it s deja vu facts and i m sick of it. But if NAC/TA are doing well their job, writers are wasting everything like usual.
Spencer, you have a smart girlfriend in Trina, and she is waiting for you to say I love you Trina and she will follow you. Trina dribbled the ball back to Spencer and I bet he is thinking about this conversation.

The doves are finally free! I expected the gifting of the doves to be more dramatic, but I’m not upset about how they were given. You can see that Spencer’s trying not to be so over the top, and yet you can see how much the gesture meant to him by how nervous he was. Esme remains a problem, but I think Spencer keeps on as he does because she genuinely is of no consequence to him beyond Ace. (Though the writers made a clumsy choice in having Spencer invite her to stay for dinner as the catalyst to push Trina to open up IMHO, especially since he’s actively tried to keep Esme away from Trina.) It’s clear the writers aren’t giving them everything all at once, but I think that’s a good thing. The doves are big, but they aren’t the big payoff!
I didn’t mind the invite for her to stay - especially as he said bring Ace. It was kinda foul that he didn’t just tell her that Trina was coming over in the first place. It felt like at least one of them were being treated like the side chick… 🥴 whether it be intentional or not.

I am glad that Spencer let Trina know that she is the one he wants. He should have slipped in the I love you. Every time he looks at Esme, he will see his dad banging her and that would be a turn off to him and nasty.
Yeah Spencer inviting Esme to stay did provide the opportunity for Trina to say her part. Which has been long over due. I’ve said this on previous posts but I need to shift my expectations. I was anticipating the same intensity with them once they returned from Greenland. However that’s not the case and they’re just like every other couple on the show. I’m still invested as the story is moving along. Hopefully Nick will come back during sweeps and get his child and marry Esme or something bc although babies that play Ace are great this baby stuff needs to end lol.

Spencer doesn't realize that Esme is still manipulating him in her own amnesia way. I'm glad that he told Trina that there's nothing going on between them romantically ( at least not for him) plus that Trina is the only one he wants to be with. Him giving her the doves to me seemed kind of pointless I know he didn't give it right away because at the time she was dating Rory, and he didn't know how she truly felt about him. When Cyrus gave him the doves he said to Spencer that he could have one and give Trina the other , so I don't get why Trina is the one telling him that they could each keep one as a reminder that they belong together ( he should have told her that). What exactly are they? when she was taking them out the box it looked like little statues. Honestly I think that Spencer should have gotten her a piece of jewlery instead to show her how he truly feels about her. A bracelet or a necklace would be really nice. Maybe soon!? I read that turtle doves symbolizes love, loyalty, and devotion.

Yeah I don’t think they can open mouth kiss….. regulations or something. It may impact the rating of the show 🤔. Even in movies I believe the kissing can impact the rating… which is stupid but here we are.
Tbh Im honestly excited to see what is in store for Sprina. I feel like they are getting some good material coming around the corner. I can see the temp writers are trying to turn things around. Its not an overnight process. I hate Esme with a passion however I understand that they had to get Trina to that point to voice more of her pov to Spencer which is what I’ve been wanting to see and I think we will get more. I also feel that there is this real high expectation placed on these 20 something year olds to get it right all of the time. I have to remind myself of that to☺️. No relationship or character on this show is perfect and I want to see Sprina work through these challenges as a couple which in the end will make them stronger. FOR ME I wasn’t that upset with these scenes and Im looking forward to what is next with Sprina. And to those who say Trina is giving those doves back…you wish lol.

I'm glad that Trina saved the scene. Spencer was floundering and forgot that turtle doves mean "together forever". Thank garland she knew and filled him in. I can see we're going to see Trina explode soon if Esme or Spencer doesn't move away from each other. Also, I was begging for that A4-G#4 grace note 🎶 to end in Trina saying 🤟🏻, but this was a touching near-miss for me. Spencer got caught with a mouthful of feet over Esme, but lady lucky for him, Trina saved the day.

It really wasn’t. Instead of Spencer pouring his heart out, it was Trina who had to explain the significance of the doves. He still hasn’t told her he loves her. He’s supposed to be this super rich guy but he couldn’t buy her a true gift? He could’ve planned out a romantic date that was significant to them both. A picnic in the park, reservations at a restaurant or Ava’s art gallery? No he chooses the most basic date with his pseudo-baby mama in the next room. What a joke.

He’s not ready to be in a relationship with anyone. The writers have done a great job in showing that Sprina may be endgame but this isn’t their time. Starcrossed lovers rarely get a happy ending

Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I would have preferred for Spencer to have waited three more months to give Trina the turtle doves. It would have been closer to the time when she lost Rory and she and Spencer began to bond again. It would have been more significant. But at the speed Spencer and Esme are hanging out, Trina will be giving the dove back to Spencer by November sweeps.

Unpopular opinion, I don't like Spencer and it's not because of what's being happening lately but I never really been likeable. If Trina wasn't in the picture, would anyone like his character? I'm just stating my POV.
