When I first heard about this I assumed he couldn't swim but by the video he was clearly a strong swimmer.
Those lessons were in 2019, obviously if he took swimming lessons that long ago you would expect him to be a very proficient swimmer at this point.
Accidents where someone passes out in the water and drowns are a thing. Maybe there's foul play but it does happen like this sometimes.

Ok, admittedly eons ago, I was a lifeguard at a lake and a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor. I have some questions. IF he could not, or had limited ability as a swimmer, why was he not wearing a personal flotation device? Why was he not wearing the board "leash"? Both of those are BASIC safety procedures. If the unidentified female staffer was paddling WITH hm, she could not be more that a few paddle strokes away.from where he fell in. Why did she not dive in and try and pull him back (it was ONLY 8 ft. deep)? AND why are the two of you spending all your time coming up with far-fetched (dare I say conspiracy theories?) reasons why he might have drown instead of addressing the elephant in the room that most of them make no sense. The story seems very vague. Who was the female? What did the autopsy show? If the video footage is real, he knew how to swim. But if he was injected with a paralytic agent, he would not be able to swim. If he was drinking or was drugged, which would be uncovered in a real autopsy, that could explain the drowning. Who's idea was it to paddleboard? This could be an accident or it could be nefarious - NEED MORE REAL DATA. Definitely fishy.

I used to be a very good swimmer when I was younger . First of all the autopsy should have shown if there were any comorbidities in respect to this young’s mans health. If the man hit something such as a hard object it would also show in an autopsy. This makes no sense . Eight feet of water is very shallow ,and I’ve not yet heard from any news outlet how far off shore the man was. Robbie if the man had an accident it would have showed in the postmortem . Keep going back to how far off shore the man, and the woman were when this incident happened . Makes no sense .

It's true that one of the first things you learn is how to survive in shallow water, by gently bobbing from the bottom to the surface, breathing as you surface, then gently going back under, repeat, repeat, repeat.
