I have seen Tom The Rapper on quite a few occasions in recent years! But i really never knew how addicted he was 😔 However it’s nice to see him and that he does love rapping 👍 Paul good for you and thank you for sharing Tom The Rappers story mate 👌
I saw this guy rapping today on O'Connell Street with the Hare Krishna, full of zest. The Hare Krishna are great. They try to heal the world with love. Support the Hare Krishna and spread love ❤
I know Tomo a long long time he's one talented bloke he is one determined bloke even after all the knock backs he still keeps going and you have to respect his honesty there's no hidden agenda with him keep safe Tomo stay safe brother
Very sad to see Tommy back this way after where he had got to with music 10 or so years ago. Hopefully he gets back on top of things. I still listen to his tracks quite a bit
God bless you both, Tomo, you are very smart and articulate, I really wish you all the very best in your journey. Pauly, once again, top notch. you are giving voices to the voiceless. Thank you
I remember seeing Tomo in temple bar about 7yrs ago and the tourist's loved it.there was a band across the road. They had a few instruments and he jammed with them and it left a big impression on me.good memery.from then
Pauly .. i was going to comment at 6 mins but refrained.. i say this in a deep mind frame from my own opinion , he needs to see a good drug counsellor first, get on a programme , believe he going to do it , and then do a psilocybin mushroom session with a experienced addiction expert in this field , it will force him to see everything if he really wants it. Its the road of least resistance that may work. Thank you for your work Pauly your a kind sole and the real life interactions and you caring is much appreciated you are setting an example. p.s if you havnt looked into psilocybin and drug recovery research and accounts please do.
Interesting comment Jamie. In my own journey to get clean I went from heroin and methadone to suboxone then reduced till clean ...then a few ayahuasca cermonies ..followed by microdosing on Lsd for re-wiring the habitual neuron responces ... and what can i say, it worked for me, so I really agree with your perspective brother...check out a psychadelic healing session i was involved in for a friend of mine last year ill drop the link for you
@@KoldTurkey Very interesting stuff Pauly , , psilocybin and some other in medium doses allow you to see the truth and from many perspectives , glad micro dosing helped you on your journey, if these things made it to the mainstream it would be a whole new ball game in curing addictions of any kind and healing and rewiring the brain like you mentioned, i lost my dad to addiction a few years ago but because this kind of thing int on the mainstream he never even would have considered it because it doesnt have the backing of "reputable" scientists who are actually just salesmen and of coarse theres alot of money involved in pharmaceutical drugs industry ,Take care Pauly and keep up the good work !!

Just checking in to see if anyone can let us know how Tommo is doing. I was introduced to him about 15 years ago by a couple of ly mates from Ballymun and have only just seen this interview. Update would be fab
@@KoldTurkey Thanks so much for the reply. Only just came across your channel today. Have given you a sub. I wish Tommy well and would love so much for him to get doing what he should be and that's his class music. I'm living through many of da same problems I relate and have full understanding of the struggles with our addictions its a battle i hope we all win. Hope your well yourself and keep up the great work. Shall get watching your videos.
A dublin addiction doctor on the nicola tallant podcast, said that he hasn't come across any 1 under 15 years old in heroin addiction in ten years. Hard to believe, but if true it's good news. No offence to any addict but why would any young person want to end up strung out. What a krapy life.
Thats because kids today have our hindsight to learn from.. in the late seventies my generation had no predecessors to show us what we were getting into
@@KoldTurkey I know I get it, I've been through it all myself out in blanchardstown in the late 80s and the 90s . I think moving from the environment helps 100% .
