Casey, all artist go through those feeling. It’s all about expectation. Give your self a break once in a while and creat for your self. I use a sketch book to explore. Set aside some time, it is not wasted time even if what you are exploring doesn’t get you excited. Sometimes I come back to old experimentations and explore some more. Continue to be yourself you are unique. Ed
Ed, thank-you so much for this. I truly needed to hear it, and agree entirely. I think I have forgotten to carve out time for things that I want to create, and make what is expected of me. Something that of course is incredibly draining when done everyday. I appreciate your feedback, and advice always. ♥
Another Great Video!! I love painting eyes, but that catch light can get tricky. Thanks for explaining your process.I also work from a mid tone colour first, to shadows and lastly highlights. Recently did a Jaguar's Eye which was a nice colour palette to work with (blues and greens).
