    What a display of outstanding of musical talent, these 3 young ladies have the future of Jazz in very exciting hands.An excellent example of Jazz Guitar from the also very capable John Reynolds who I had not heard before on You Tube but hope to track him down for further enjoyment. BRAVO!!!

    Is she as young as she looks? I'm just amazed at her mastery of the clarinet. I'm a 90 year old retired band director and jazz trumpet player and not easily impressed. She blows my mind!!!

    The bass player gets a great sound out of that old aluminum bass. Those things aren’t much on tone, but she certainly gets the most out of it. Great slapping technique.

    John Reynolds is something else with his guitar, reminds me of Mundell Lowe! So, Chloe has played with both Stephanie Trick on piano and Shaye Cohn on piano. These performers do get around!

  • @sireugenecourtney5797

    Can't someone buy her a real wood upright bass? Howard Hughes' wooden Spruce Goose only flew a few feet off the ground, so there is no shortage of wood to make musical instruments.

    • @swingyoucats
      @swingyoucats  Před 5 lety

      Sir, perhaps you should ask Katie Cavera and Vince Giordano why they (both of whom have wood string basses) play the aluminum instruments. Or would you prefer to be petulantly uninformed?

    • @sireugenecourtney5797
      @sireugenecourtney5797 Před 5 lety

      @@swingyoucats If that be the case, why does the aluminum bass sound like crap? If one is going to use metal , why not bring back the tuba of yesteryear to keep the beat? See MOSCOW RAGTIME BAND | Dippermouth Blues czcams.com/video/ZMc3Zh59X3M/video.html

      @@swingyoucats I looked into the history of the aluminum upright bass and wasn't too impressed with it. Perhaps I should ask the 99.9% of upright bass players if they even heard of such an animal. History of the aluminum upright bass kaybassrepair.com/aluminium-instruments/
