Hard to realize this was 50 years ago
Pretty indeed, and Ms. King is also quite pleasant in person, as we had the pleasure of hearing/seeing her with Clint's band at Cafe Barrone in Menlo Park, CA a few years ago. BTW, Ryan Calloway is also an excellent graphic designer and artist, with several CD covers and similar projects.
What a gift - I have loved the recordings for many decades - and now I get to see them - I found Braff to be one of the most interesting cornetists of the 1970s - and that includes trumpeters. His lines were unpredictable - devoid of unmusical patterns strung together. And Barnes ~~~ so vastly under-appreciated. The way they worked together was magical - like Bix & Tram, Bird & Diz, Cannonball & Nat ~~~

True geniuses! Soooooo hip, advanced, musical, conscious, smart. Harmony, phrasing, swing, diction--detail--they knew and cleverly employed every trick in the book. And then invented new ones. Like miss Kyla said, they were "musician's musicians." I'm a New Orleans jazz musician myself and I just love them. I wish they'd make a "Hollywood" movie of their lives. It could star three of the most talented popular young women of our time to bring popularity of the Boswells to a new generation.
