Build a Miata that is not only much more powerful than in the stock form, but also more "driveable".
All of this has to happen without sacrificing reliability, not draining my wallet to zero would also be a big plus. (it will drain my wallet to zero)

Honestly I think the Mighty Miata is the perfect name. Not every car needs a normal human name. Despite being a totally boring name on paper, it's the most iconic and unique name you could give it. Everybody can name a Miata Phil, but only you can call it the "Mighty Miata".
And sponsors are totally fine imo, dude. You make the addreads fun ;)

The mighty miata is a great name. And as for the ads, as long as there is not an ad every 20 or 30 seconds (as in those videos whose creators complain about greedy CZcamsrs), you should be fine.

This is a super exciting project! It reminds me of the '69 Impala that my dad bought and has been restoring on and off for the past 8 or so years (but you'll actually get stuff done... lol). Definitely looking forward to seeing how this project goes. I’d definitely say it should stay red, but it would also be interesting to see, say if Muye got his hands on this, a baby blue Miata. As for the sponsorships/ paid ads, I’d say go for them, especially if they’re able to help you out, then it means more content for us. Another suggestion, with how you said a possible American trip, why not think about visiting us down in Australia sometime in the future as well.

8:32 Probs the only CZcamsr that asks if he can put ads on his vids. Well i can live with that especially for more amazing new content
Ive been down this road with my NB. The power is great fun, but I think 250bhp is the limit before things get a bit silly. Also remember that the weight distribution will change a bit with an engine swap. The NB so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true for the NA too, feels like it needs a touch more weight to the rear so you ideally want to lighten the front a little bit. While the 3UZ is only a touch heavier than the stock BP engine that you get, that’s still more weight to the front which puts more pressure on the front tyres and less on the rear. You could get around this by going with slightly wider tyres on the rear than the front.
If you still want to daily this car then I advise against coilovers. Get a shock and spring setup like some high end Koni’s or even just bilstein B6s with Eibach proline springs. You don’t want to lower the car too much or else bump steer will be a bitch. Given the power and by extension speed you’ll be able to go, at least for track days you’ll want a wing on the back. You don’t want the tail kicking out on you at high speed and I know how snappy the tail can be at speed.
WHATEVER DIFFERENTIAL YOU BUY GET A QUAIFE CLUTCH PACK INSERT AND SET THE PRELOAD FOR STREET USE!!! They feel absolutely wonderful and behave much like the NBFL’s Tochiga Fuji Super 2 differential. You’ll do some of the most beautifully smooth drifts possible with that.
Some whiteline adjustable antiroll bars are high quality and easy on the wallet plus their adjustable drop links are nice too. Absolutely get some chassis bracing because the NA’s chassis is disappointingly floppy without it.
Anyway, that’s just advice, you do you, man. Best of luck!

Mighty, im curious why you didnt choose a K24 swap, it keeps the weight 50/50 and yet is super easy to install all you would need is to buy a little kit and it bolts onto the transmission super easy!
To be fair the 3UZ isn't that heavy either. It is only around 30kg heavier than the K24, and it has nearly double the horsepower of most K24 variants.
