basically, 2x mult turns into -> (c, 2m) -> ((c + 2m) / 2, (c + 2m) / 2) = c^2/4 + c*m + m^2. So basically by doubling your mult you are squaring it instead with this deck, insanely broken

It basically takes the sum of the final mult and final chips, then divides it by two and assigns the new value to chips and mults bascially squaring it, in other terms "balance the chips and the mult". Since it makes the final score way higher (exactly (chips^2+mult^2)/4 - (mult*chips)/2) higher) the base blinds are doubled so the deck is not broken.

So the way I played it isn’t the way you’re supposed to play it? I could’ve gone for high mult and high chips?

@@theofficialtannergamingu definitely want to focus chips early on since you can get a ton easily in the early game, however they don’t scale nearly as well as mult so you want to transition to your typical high multiplier build later on, but that’s usually near or after ante 8
