Queen + Paul Rodgers - Let There Be Drums (Live)
/ queenofficial - Hudba
Underrated drummer in my opinion.
With hands that fast, he could be a world class boxer. Love hearing Roger playing drums and Brian play guitar.
Oh my life...what did I just watch? An absolute god on his drums...
YEAH!! Roger Taylor, your good on drums!!
Superb cover of the 1961 Sandy Nelson classic... Love a drum solo !!!
Possibly the best drummer of my generation,(i'm 45). This rendition was fantastic. Bang on Roger, bang on.
2:12 he did the drum solo from metallica's one with one bass drum.
kick ass roger never get to old(and still the same hear colour)>:)
I Love Queen, but the two remainig, (Brian and Roger), are sublime. Best rendition of druns ever. Go Roger.
Quien puede ser tan desubicado de poder poner que no le gusta? QUEEN lo más grande del mundo!!!
Roger, i Love you forever!
Does anyone have an idea how RT tuned his snaredrum? I love how it sounds!
Thanks in advance!
After 9 years, still no answers lol
@@danielperktas And so the quest continues...
@@Ahead5ABC I’d love to tell you but I don’t know too. Hope u find it soon :)
I think he opt for a low head tension... Then .. The sound depend from the mics.. And the drummer own touch..specially in 70 i think he used to put some muffles on the snare.. Look at dont stop me now..snare..or others from jazz album
He doesnt.
Esse cara é uma lenda to rock 2019
I LOVE ROGER TAYLOR!
Posiblemente sea el mejor baterista de rock de la historia.
Un genio!
Just cool!!! I hope it would be a live album too!!!!
Nothing Like The Original (Sandy Nelson) - Let There Be Drums
Love Brian's sudden mute at 1:39
Sander Nelson and Richard Podolor wrote this . I have Sandy Nelson,s LP DrumsDrumsDrums . His performens is the best of it !
One thing that gets better with age, drumming!
@dankerthanclanker:
that's just two old friends and brilliant musicians improvising together a little bit!! :)
Go Roger!!!
way underrated guy queen were so much more tha freddie mercurys songs but alas the showmanship sold way more than the craftsmanship
when i first heard that paul rodgers was joining queen for a tour, i thought it sounded horrible(and i'm a big fan of both queen and paul rodgers). now i wish i had gone and seen a show. i mean, it is the closest thing to seeing queen live.
is that in sheffield, because if it is then ive got it!!!
that old guy is a beast drummer
Salbo el peinado y el pelo después espetacular todo 😂
i WISHHHHH i could have been there :'(
I bought the Cozy Powell version in the 70's which I loved, this brilliant but I think Cozy is better
i feel i should agree with you Trevor. Cozy Powell is an outstanding drummer with his own style and sound. Roger Taylor's drumming is good enough but not so fabulous of course. He's A GREAT SINGER and songwriter though. ... just to keep the conversation, so to say ;-) Hello from Ukraine
@2:32 Let me entertain you
Si!!! :-) :-)
Quite a good drummer wouldn't one say
With "Sir" Roger Meadows Taylor Let There Will Drums forever & ever... // Con "Sir" Roger Meadows Taylor habrá Baterias eternamente...
That was great but I'm glad I don't live next door to him.
Matteo CZcams QUEEN
lots of cozy Powell in there.
Sandy Nelson classic. Different era. Sandy didn't have the likes of Brian May. But then again he why. Brilliant
@annokrat , that guitar riff is from another song, i've heard it somewhere else.
This is absolutely fantastic. Roger really does the piece justice. Somehow I still prefer the simplicity of Sandy's version though...
sandy nelson
I think so its from the DVD
He's still got it, and he's growing his hair again, too! But, what? No water on the skins?
what's the guitar solo?
why does it say paul rodgers?
Es buena la version, pero la de Sandy Nelson es superior.
Great - but now listen to the simpler, Sandy Nelson original - unbeatable.
Trigger?!?!?
And they say one direction are the best
Who is Paul Rodgers? I thought this was Roger Taylor?
It was a queen concert which is Paul Rodgers singing queen songs
@@robyneianndleoncito4529 Isn't that Roger Taylor on drums, looks like him to me?
@@barbarahanratty4174 yes that is Roger taylor
underrated drummer...he needs a better drum set tho...like neil peart's
+ Paul rodgers??
Who is Paul Rodgers???????
The drummer (though) is Roger Taylor
just improvisation.
WAY way better than that crappy original
idk but roger looks really awkward in the 2000...
Roger gained a little weight
He was like 40 odd or 50 odd in that video what do you expect?
Hmmm... Roger should make more solos... so he sweat a little bit mor... He is going to be to fat... Brian is the same as for 40 years...
thats pretty lousy drumming considering hes in my opinion usually so good. messy and not flow
