    Great interview! I'm a retired ED nurse and thought the information you gave was absolutely wonderful. Have a 2year old grandson with atopic dermatitis. His poor hands and feet are severely red with the flaking you described. His mother lives in PA and is receiving healthcare thru the state. Contacted a PEDS dermatologist to have him seen.Was told that if I paid out of pocket for his treatment he could possible lose his insurance. How sad 😢.His mother and I are doing all OTC and other recommendations given per the Soc of PED dermatologist. Just wanted to vent!! He has had to wait for 9months to be seen by an allergist first.Told his mother to press for some steroids. State healthcare must be totally overwhelmed.The poor physicians who deal with this have my prayers.

    My daughter has excema, and the first few questions on here described us. I feel that cooking the formula before feeding helps her skin. And batging every other day as well as 3-5 minutes of sun a day helps the skin breathe better, and yes, moisterizer like dove lotion helps along with a small amount of cortisone cream applied at night

    • @AngelinaAndRyan
      @AngelinaAndRyan Před rokem

      If the formula you use contains dairy or soy, STOP and switch to something else. Those are huge eczema triggers and cause colic in babies. Dove is one of the worst brands for “sensitive skin” because it contains eczema-irritating ingredients. Switch to an all natural, plant based non toxic brand for literally everything - laundry detergent, baby lotion, baby soap. I recommend Earth mama and Puracy

    • @AngelinaAndRyan
      @AngelinaAndRyan Před rokem +1

      Tips on this: Only dress baby in cotton clothes (nothing polyester EVER), use a completely natural plant based laundry detergent, use completely cotton or bamboo sheets (even satin or silk work well), use non toxic plant based natural baby soap, baby lotion, diaper cream, use all natural plant based or cloth baby diapers, get a reliable water filter for the shower and sinks! , don’t feed baby formula with dairy or soy, and if breast milk causes colic stop eating dairy altogether, only use a natural non toxic plant based eczema cream, don’t follow most derms advice as they have no idea about holistic and natural healing and will just prescribe things to cover up the symptoms but not get to the root cause. If the baby still has eczema after trying ALL of these things and looking at reviews to make sure the consensus of most customers is 5 stars, then in that case I would seek out a naturopath

      @@jessimalay I use 3 cream/balm and then top it with petroleum jelly. I start off with Aveeno Nighttime Balm all over body n face, Renew lotion on problem areas, Eucerin Eczema Relief on problem areas, and then Petroleum Jelly on problem areas. I would apply hydrocortisone after the Renew lotion if my son’s eczema seemed to be coming back. I bathe him once in the morning and once in the evening. I found that water helps retain all creams/balm/lotion I apply everyday. I tried bathing every few days to every other day, but that didn’t help clear up the eczema. I also have Tubby Todd All over ointment that I use in replacement of the Aveeno nighttime balm from time to time. I always make sure to apply Eucerin 2-3 times throughout the day to help with any itch or dryness. I also bought these non scratch mitten gloves from Amazon that has been our life saver. No more waking up to bloody faces and earlobes. Whenever he seemed to be super itchy, I’d put the gloves on and it prevents harsh scratching. This is my regimen for my son. It was a lot of trial and error and finding what worked. I’ve watch countless videos on CZcams and tik tok. This is my 3rd child and my other 2 did not have any eczema problems. So it was a shock to me and a learning process. I’m still learning every day. I hope this helps someone out there. Stay strong, our babies are beautiful no matter what.

      Take the baby to a doctor and let them check for heavy metals in baby’s system. You have to get to the root of the problem which is most likely toxins in baby’s body that is causing inflammation hence the eczema flare ups . Make sure baby is drinking enough water to flush out any toxins that may be in his system. Try adding a little Baking soda to bath water to help minimize itchiness. Apply aquaphor or Vaseline or candula lotion on skin to moisturize

Baking soda and apple cider vinegar are very effective in clearing up eczema especially when babies are going through topical steroid withdrawal . Not for my baby. I don’t vaccinate any of my kids anymore after my oldest. The mmr caused my oldest to have serious brain damage and now he’s disabled for life. So my other kids have never had any. My newborn has severe eczema.

    My baby had ezema and what I discovered is that her body didn t like conventional toxic laundry detergent. I did bioresonance tests on her and it showed she had high levels of heavy metals which are ironically found in detergents! I changed all cleaning supplies for ecologic ones. also she had high levels of histemine in the body, and was intolerent to milk, dairy, gluten, and some more foods which you can find are no no on a low histamine diet (which acctualy exists). So what I also did was taken out all those foods for one month (from my diet becaus I breast feed) and her ekcema cleared!! if I was to folllow this conventional bullshit she would be on steroids and would have had cronical dermatitis for who knows how long... This big pharma doctors are missled.

      What were the other foods she was allergic to in your breast milk?

      Try taking clay pills to get rid of toxins from the body, you can mix it out in water as well and when u breast feed it will pass into milk and help to remove heavy metals from babies system. Baking soda is also effective to bathe baby in / apple cider vinegar to help with itchiness
