This looks as satisfying as pressure washing, if I had some land and rock I’d sit outside and crush stuff all day. I’ve watched every video uploaded on this channel over the past year and feel like I have some way above average knowledge about things I’ll never experience in real life. From smelting, fine gold and precious metals recovery and streamlining a small mining operation, pretty neat.

I used to work for Jacques Australia, making single toggle, double toggle primaries, hammer mills, secondary, tertiary and quarternary crushers. I miss my machining days.

I know you have had this up for a few weeks but watching it crush the larger round rock my thoughts went to why isn't there any gripping jaws down the feeder to crush quicker like shark teeth

Hope you guys see this, first off these crushers are amazing hope to own one someday of course a mbmm one! Second not sure if you would know from experience selling all over but has anywhere state side had regulation for crushing/recycling this stuff for gravel/decorative? I'm in Pennsylvania and all i could find was needing some beneficial use permit that so seems really overbearing in the fine detail, with your experience if crushing/recycling to sell something that would actually need such a permit? Keep up the great videos showcasing the crushers could watch all day, hope to see more marble counter crushing!!

Pretension or post tension uses cable. Any precast structure concrete uses this method
They also sometimes use huge runs of all-thread bar and tension it up with big ol' nuts.

A lot like probably 100 or so but that is a guess
What’s inside the big orange cases on either side of the center of that crusher?
The one of the side of the motor is the drive gear/pulley. It looks like the opposite side has a large flywheel to even out the rotation/take some strain off the motor from the crushing motion.

Not much, wood is springy so since the range of movement is so short it wouldn't crush in a timely manner.
I had to monitor a crushing operation that included a jaw crusher that took a 200 hp engine and we had the jaws set at 6 inches, there was a few root balls that got stuck in the crusher that we had to dig out.

I think your safety in your demo is rather lacking several times I see hands in danger especially the block started at 8:40 your standing on a palet that's on a forklift and then putting your hand into that crusher!! HOPEFULLY YOUR EMPLOYEES AND COSTOMERS WORK SAFER THAN YOUR DEMO.
