- It wasn't fast....but it's still FUN :)
This is a 1973 atc 70. Its VIN is says its the 949 made.
It has been in my family since it was bought new.
If anyone has any info to what year and exactly how many where made per year back then? - Auta a dopravní prostředky
In the forum, there is atleast one guy I've chatted with, that has owned a large number of these early 70's, and he knows production numbers and when changes were made. Even has relayed finding 74's with original orange paint underneath the original 74 red, on the tanks.
These are fairly rare, and are collectors items. Only worth so much in unrestored shape, but a ton restored. All the OE stickers are reproduced as well as fenders. Aftermarket engines are a simple bolt in.

ya gotta love the 73's!
Nice wheely mate
Thats good shit!!!!
Cool, I also have a '73 model. Though I only bought mine a couple of years ago. I would recomend you join the Glamis dunes forum. They have an ATC70 only section, and that is the place for all info ATC70 related. There are experts in there. One thing I know, that most don't, is that there were some small revisions done mid way, on even just the 73. Mine is an early one, and the foot guards and rear cover have slight differences from the later 73's. The later 73 guards went on the same for 74.
@WilyWilson1 about 30 ish STOCK. But people have put 350 CC BANSHEE MOTORS on these things.
That is NuCkInG FuTs :) 1973 70 cc 3 speed, fun lil thing
Our early atc 70 Had flames on the tank and the words Mini Brute were written on the tank i think. Iowa farm tool.it was.
The 73' was a three speed and would outrun the later 4 speed on top end. I grew up on two ATC 70's and an ATC 110
they made them back in 73?! didnt know that.
@SixSpeedSS yeah , cool ill do that , i need a lil help with its SPARK issue its having :( i have d-l the original paper work 4 it . my vin says that it is the 949 one made.im wondering what the lowest vin # sold in the U.S.A ?

How do you do a wheelie? I have a honda 185s, just got it yesterday? How do I do a wheelie and in what gear?
Start slow in a low gear and then as you progress go faster and gear up
i feel like a 10 feet tall on it and im only 5'5" :)
@WilyWilson1 around 20 mph
@kttba77 Yeah, that's gotta be a pretty low. There are guys in that forum, that have been around these enough to really know the vin number details. Mine is 1961, and I've only seen/heard of, a few lower. Recall reading about a guy that scored 666, which was a funny one. Mine's still waiting for my attention/time.
The spark issue should be an easy one for guys in that forum. Some of them are into these hard-core.
1961 is impossible
@@MrGold-dv2jh 1961 is merely the last 4 of the sequence number, or vin.
U sure they where making those in 1973
