- I am taking you for a leisurely stroll with snippets of history in the beautiful village of Shere on the Surrey Hills.
The picturesque village was used as a filming location for several movies and series due to its historical listed building and stunning surroundings. It is also link to the disappearance of Agatha Christie...
Shere is also home to a haunted pub with stories of smugglers and sheep stealing...

very good looking village, it sounds very quiet
Actually there was a school group visiting the village when I filmed, teenagers, had to cut sounds off haha but yeah usually at a different time of the day would be quiet and peaceful 😊
@@nathalie.kerrio great job
@@AbdalkaderAlkhatib Thanks Abda ☺
Was there today, how weird. Fabulous village xx
Ow yeah coincidence! I was there yesterday!
@@nathalie.kerrio I do a good walk from Guildford to Shere via the Chantries, St Martha's Hill and then into Albury and through the Albury Park estate x
Oh nice I saw a nice path but wasn't sure it was ok on a bicycle so I took the road at the end
@@nathalie.kerrio Going from Pilgrims Way to The Chantries up to St Martha's is all bike friendly. Although for foot and bike alike the last part is tough xxx Wonderful video xX Best descend St Martha's with a bike via the path towards Guildford Lane. Trying to descend towards Chilworth Manor requires ropes, ladders, a helicopter, and an insurance policy xx
@@COMEINTOMYWORLD Great to know, I will try cycling it next time then. Thanks
