Thank you for this comparison, I'm glad I held off for the mass market version because I prefer it.
And thank you for mentioning the accessibility issue with cardstock. Having small hands has always made shuffling tricky for me but dealing with an ongoing issue/pain in my right hand has left me unable to even riffle shuffle which has been frustrating.

I don't why,but I really adore this deck. I own indie edition. But I will get mass market as well :) Thank you for the great video!

As an Ace agender person, I really like this deck because it's not RAINBOWS AND GLITTER EVERYWHERE, ya kno!? Like, that just doesn't seem inclusive or real life to me. I wish I knew about the indie deck when you could support it, but I'll still buy it MM. I'm an artist and I've been really diving into self reflection/ discovery so I can make a true Ace or agender deck, but at least this queer deck sees me a *little* better than traditional decks. ♡ Really appreciate the comparison 🥰🙏🏻💚

Hi there, new subscriber, thank you for this! I have the original version and didn't even know there was a new edition. I do find it a bit slippy as well but I enjoy the thinner card stock. Just a comment about the book, I purchased the full companion book that is sold separately and it is outstanding. I'm not a massive fan of guidebooks per se, but I wanted to hear more about what the artist had to say since there is so much new ground in this deck, and I was not disappointed. It isn't really a guidebook, as much as a stand alone contemporary exploration of tarot that is a great addition to my general tarot reference library.

Hi, Tom. This deck has come on and off my wishlist. It's back on. I'll have to wait some - just got Moonlit Hermit. Thanks for the comparison. Have a great holiday season. Stay safe and warm. ( Becky or Chad ? Lol lol! )

So glad to finally get this deck! Unfortunately my HH mm version came through extremely bowed 😳😡🤨 I guess I’ll see if I can exchange it. So happy to see more decks like this out in the world! My experience when reading for others is that most people react positively to decks where they can see themselves represented. And II totally get that. As an older person I’m always excited and happy to see a few elders sprinkled in a deck! Thanks for the comparison. Not too happy with HH cardstock in general…

Appreciate the shout out to the shuffle challenged--small hands, damaged thumb. I guess we can't/shouldn't demand that every deck be everything to everybody. There are enough decks today that we can all find the "one" that works well for us. But supporting variety from mass market publishers is certainly important. Thanks!

No way! Amazing that this has come out mass market. I got the indie version so I'm slightly bummed cos if I can get a deck cheaper, I will 😅 but glad to have supported the artist anyway. I'm not compelled to buy the mm version for any of the changes and know I'll definitely prefer the linen card stock. Thanks for this comparison. Happy days!

be an activist - buy the deck.love this lolI I love linen cad stock though, I'll find someone to buy and gift this too while keeping my original. I love the new backs, and I prefer Arabic numerals...I can't give up my Mr Rogers card.
