Khonsu - The Child God of Moon And Healing - Egyptian Mythology

Khonsu is the ancient Egyptian god of the Moon. His name means "traveller", and this may relate to the perceived nightly travel of the Moon across the sky. Along with Thoth he marked the passage of time. Khonsu was instrumental in the creation of new life in all living creatures.

For me he is the personification of the aborted child. When a fetus is taking sive, it also develops a smaller conscience most likely related to primal instinct which is to eat. Also those first steps of conscience prepares the child for life outside the womb, so we can relate the first personality of khonsu of the monster in the first steps of the baby developing primal needs and the benevolent one which develops further as the baby grows. Inside the womb, the child is in its own universe and most likely a god. He becomes Khonshu when he/she never makes it till manhood or womanhood and retains that pure childish conscience. That's why maybe it has a place among gods and also a high place in their realm, also he is called the greatest of the great gods. Could be that Amun is Khonsu when the child makes it outside the womb and grows into the path of life and finally becoming a man or a woman.

Not sure which video you guys are currently working on, but I'm curious if you guys might tackle Perkūnas, the Baltic god of thunder, at some point? He's similar to Ukko and Thor, but could be seen as the typical Indo-European thunder-god archetype.
