I need to get a sick relative down the stairs for doctor's appts. The staircase rise has a rise of 7 feet. Can I get away with a 16-foot Roll-A-Ramp especially if we go down the ramp with me backing out? I'd back out because it would be too steep for the person in the wheelchair to be in the front. At least if I'm back our down the ramp I can brace my legs. Can I do this without a support beam. I ask because I really just want to pull this ramp out when there are doctors' appt. to attend.
