- So sad to see Claudia go! This week's episode was eye opening, in regards to Louis' part in Claudia's creation. We all knew that Claudia would meet her end , but it's always interesting to see how each producer makes the tragic story their own. The character was the middle ground between Lestate and Louis and the void will be felt in future episodes. Delainey Hayles, did a great job in portraying this character. The stage is set for episode 8 and I know that it will be enjoyable but bittersweet. Knowing that episode 8 is the last episode this year is a bummer, but season 3 has been renewed, and for that we are grateful. Cheers to Ben Daniels for being the most irritating vamp on television. I felt so bad for Claudia. She was like when a couple has a baby to fix their problems. It is so relatable. The end when she looks to Lestat, her father who didn't want her, it broke my heart. It's like she wanted Lestat to save her.❤
Armand is like the new parent who didn't want children and only wanted the person to themselves.
I’m glad someone chose Claudia
Yes, finally.
Claudia was a child in the middle of two parents where one couldnt stand the other. If you go back over season 1, from all the episodes that had her in them, Louis is constantly feeding her doubt. "Dont be like him" ... "He's too extra" .... If Louis had never done this to her, she wouldn't have grown a disdain for him. Its the same as in any other household. When a mom tells her child not to listen to their father... Or that their father is stupid. Lestat never hated Claudia until she started becoming like Louis. Sure, he didnt love her the same as he did Louis, but he had grew an effection for her, but Louis made sure to nip that in the bud. Ive been watching he show over and over and over, not just as episodes but seeing other people react to it and I am seeing that lots are missing out on the bigger picture that is there.
I had to go back and watch all of season 1 to refresh my mind, because this specific episode made me doubt what I could recall...
@@Tipat_ Especially the night when Claudia was turned.
But Louis Chose Claudia when he saved her from the house fire. Louis Chose Claudia when he begged Lestat to change her. Louis Chose Claudia when He tossed from The Sky by Lestat, Louis Chose Claudia when he sliced Lestat Throat, Louis Chose Claudia when he accompanied her to Europe looking for other vampires Did he not? Was that not chosing Claudia? Not chosing Claudia she would've died either in the house fire or she would've died earlier by another vampire like Bruce.
Great acting in this series. From the book to the show I also would have liked to see Armand do more but I think there’s a good chance that he’d would have been overpowered eventually even if he killed a few of them. Remember that even though he was the oldest and strongest overall both Lestat and Santiago were strong for their ages…man, I wish Claudia would’ve been brought back in some way, though.
The moment he saw Lestat crying over physically hurting Louise back in NOLA, that's when he should have made a move. Also, where are his vampire connections? Does he not have friends in the other covens who owe him a favor?😂. I just think that all resources and avenues should have been exhausted and explored, in an attempted effort.
This episode contains one of the hardest scenes I've watched in any series, wow hard core
@@eduardoramirez89 it truly was heartbreaking to watch.
My god, I remember when I first watched the original movie,& thinking that scene was hard to watch, but *this* .. her singing,& holding Madeleine-it broke my heart!
Awesome review.
I wonder, did they changed the actress who play Claudia?
ummm how about like mother and daughter NOT lovers.............
