I bought one of these when they first came out for my wife who no longer feels safe on two wheels anymore. So hers is only 17 amps battery and no turn signals, she loves it. It has plenty of power and the battery has a great range.
I’m a senior, live in the mountains and 100% love my M-340. The trails are rocky, rutted, rooty and rough. No problems at all. I use it to hunt grouse, pick mushrooms and huckleberries, and just get out there! it’s a lot of fun!! I do have to clean the brake discs with alcohol and spritz the pads with water frequently to eliminate the squeaking. Oh, and spitting gravel as I leave my place is just an added bonus!!
I purchased this trike in September 2022. It is great. The derailleur being low has never caused me a problem. It is a trike and realistically can’t be taken on anything extremely rough so that is probably why I don’t have a problem. The battery does last forever. I live in a rural area with dirt roads. The fat tires and sturdiness of the trike make it worth the cost for me.

Would love to see a side by side comparison of the Addmotor, Lectric, Rad, and Evelo trikes.
That derailleur placement just takes away all the off-road capability. It's only a matter of time until it smashes into a rock and you're left stranded.
Wish I had one! This is pretty much what I need.
Excellent review, and I like the power and a decent battery, but that derailleur is just asking to get hit! On the bright side, at least it does have gears...
It looks good at first, but this is a street queen. You mentioned the derailleur hanging down, but I noticed the clearance under the chain and your feet when you pedal. There isn't very much when the pedal is at the bottom. This could be very painful in a ground strike from uneven terrain.
Is there a car carrier that the m340 fits on?
It looks like if you put the battery in the front basket you could add some traction to the front wheel.

Nice trike and review but the Lectric trike has the market covered at about half the price!
Your comment piqued my curiosity so I just went to browse lectric but the battery is only 14ah when the addmotor's battery is already 20ah. And the lectric's back rest seat costs extra🤔
Lectric has only one gear, so limited to people who can't/don't really want to pedal.

They put fat tires on, advertise its for off road, and down there under the rear I see flimsy gearing hanging way down just waiting to snap off at the first branch or rock. This is sad.

I’m concerned about stability. Even in aircraft the tricycle gear is not good for turns. Look at all the Asian trikes flopping over. The better three wheel design is two in front, but $$$. Can we say product liability?
We do need to be more cautious while turning on electric tricycles. We propose limiting riding speed to no more than 5 miles per hour in each turn to prevent the problem of diminished stability of the electric trike in the turn. In addition, to improve the Grandtan's stability, we expanded the wheelbase of the two rear tires to 850mm. Almost all e-trikes on the market demand the user to be extra cautious when cornering

I have owned an M340 E-Trike for a few years, I AM an EIGHTYTWO (82) year old womanizing S.O.B., that’s the name husbands & their boyfriends call me and I am in my prime. The M340 is fast,my Porsche 911 Carreras cabriolet black on black with yellow suede & black leather, is really really fast, 187mph, I drive both slowly so people can savor & envy my ass longer, but fast enough they can’t ask me any stupid questions. Remember stupid, lying politicians are representative of the intelligence of their districts. Look no further than what’s happening to your currency s34T nat’l debt, $288T obligatory debt versus a $35T insurance industry, all this shit drives down the value of the US dollar, inflation is a lie. Digital currency is the end game to liberty, game over! O.G. (the original genius)

3000$ and you end up with a Tourney 😂. Such a good joke as all the components on this bike are absolutely cheap. Also the suspension fork, where I wouldn’t put a motor in. It makes sense to go for a simple fork without suspension on such bikes.
I just discovered that the batteries they use are 48V*20ah and UL approved in the United States and Canada. After reading enough news reports about e-bike batteries exploding,, perhaps there is anything beneath the price range that will provide buyers with more piece of mind.

I love that you can control the age content, block certain apps and videos, and free storage space with apps that haven’t been used in a while. This tablet has assisted my son’s learning in so many ways. We love it!
It's funny how they don't show how easy this trike will tip over on you. But then again it should review paid for by them so they're not going to show you that. Instead they will do everything I can to steal disabled people's money and screw them over.
