This entire cast has been and remains so underrated! This is pure talent! From the starring roles to the supporting roles...EXCELLENCE!

Oh, and, damn we age well! Lol! Twenty years later and these folks still look good!
The end of the movie certainly made it look like there would be a continuation. But, I would say leave it as it is. The ending let the audience's imagination run wild. It's one of the greatest love movies ever and really doesn't need a sequel.
Classic film it showed the positive side of us in those times..it was a work of art...peace

Looks here....my Favorite film of all time! What’s not to love about it? Black Love, Black Relationships, Black Fun, Black Realism, Black Acting at it’s Finest! Yes, I said that. We have many films that followed and are great, but like Nia said, this film was before it’s time. However, longevity has taken it to another level. We can say this about, The Color Purple, What’s Love Got To Do With It., Menace, Black Prez, all of Spikes.... the list goes on, but they all have that one thing in common. Staying Relevant and in Constant Rotation for us Black Colored Folks movies to watch and to pass down to generations. I saw Lorenz about 3 yrs ago at LAX and asked him, on a lil note...”What about Love Jones 2?” He smiled all that swag and handsomeness...”If it not by the beginning of the year, it probably won’t happen.” That year would have been the 20th anniversary. I was disappointed but accepted the reply. We have this gem, and to follow up, would be challenging. I still say Do It! All the same cast members are alive and look the same as they did back in 97. I’d be 1st in line and buy group tickets to see it. Can you dig that? I have the DVD and play the CD to this day. Ha, now the film is on Netflix, watched it twice already...Hello!
