    This is double important if your loved one is in another state. I lived in Idaho when my dad passed unexpectedly in Florida. He owned more than one property and I was very lucky that he had just set up a trust less than 30 days before. We had talked about it but I didn't know he had followed through until the trust attorney called me. Everything was transferred quickly and easily.
