The guys and gals working at Naughty dog are truly geniuses when it comes to technical side. Crash bandicoot did it in PS1 and later jak and daxter became the first open world game that is possible to be played from start to finish without seeing a loading screen.

I loved Twinsanity. I really wish Activision and Sony would make another Crash game like it.
It just disappointed me so much when I found out how much content had to be cut from Twinsanity, I would've loved to play all that extra content.

Hassan Mostafa I really loved the comedy in Twinsanity too! It was random, it was ridiculous, it broke the fourth wall and I loved it! All the old Sony mascots aren't getting much love these days. Crash, Spyro, Sly Cooper, and especially Jak and Daxter. I haven't seen a true Naughty Dog Jak and Daxter game in over a decade.
Dr. Nope I wasn't lucky enough to play Jak and Daxter until lately, but I must say it's games pretty much hold up today but I see not big differences between it and Crash Bandicoot, and I have to say Twinsanity's jokes were really as good as you say.

These days, mudslinging is seen as very immature in a professional setting, so naming a villain "N. Tendo" wouldn't fly as well as it would in the early to mid-90's (not to mention the possible trademark issues that might arise).
Well, Sony DID pair up with Nintendo around that time period and is said to be mostly Nintendo's fault so i think it would be pretty accurate (not hating on either however)
Sony and Nintendo were both in the wrong, Sony for greedily trying to get total rights to the entire Nintendo PlayStation library and Nintendo for partnering with Phillips behind Sony's back instead of simply re-negotiating the contract for the PlayStation.
Yeah, these days it might be seen as immature, but that doesn't really matter. Anybody remember the Crash Bandicoot ad with him shouting through a megaphone in front of Nintendo headquarters?
That also hasn't stopped them from taking jabs at one another on Twitter. Naming a cartoon villain after an actual rival company wouldn't really be mudslinging, unless they blatantly set it up just to bash them.
N. Tendo isn't quite close enough to cause a trademark issue on it's own, and Nintendo itself is comprised of three separate, common words. You could just as well argue that it refers to the same source, tengu and their shrines. If setup as a parody, and following a theme, they would likely be fine.

Naughty Dog really did some impressive stuff, and the thing is, i think the original trilogy visual aged pretty damn well
Twinsanity was so good. Those cutscenes and the story telling with exploring elements made such a good story crash related game.

Yeah....uh..That's totally wrong. Mark Mothersbaugh has a studio called mutato muzika. At the time he had an employee named Josh Mancell, he is the composer for all known Crash themes (And Jack & Daxter). Mark did absolutely nothing, he just owns the studio. If I recall correctly, the Japanese serial killer didn't just behead his victims; he left the heads laying on top of a pair of shoes- Ergo, the Crash Bandicoot animation being reminiscent of that.
Did you know; I only bought a PS4 for BLOPS3 so I could play zombies splitscreen with my dudes, but now am so hyped for the new N'Sane trilogy which has given me a reason to use the system once again. Seriously though Sony needs to keep Crash as their exclusive IP rather than focusing so much on 3rd party development because their 1st/2nd parties are what gives people reason to choose them over Microsoft or PC.

How did you guys not talk about the canceled game Crash Evolution, which was going to be Crash Twinsanity before pretty much all of it was scrapped due to deadlines. Crash Evolution is a game that would've made it to legendary status if it were completed to it's full potential. Twinsanity was already pretty succesful, so considering that's just a sad fraction of what it was going to be, I figured you guys would talk about it :)
it was wrath of cortex old concept. Yeah it was a shame universal played safe without giving a chance to traveller's tales. In my opinion, traveller's tales didnt have the fault of ruining the franchise, it was just universal who didnt let them take risks.

I really love this video. Crash Bandicoot is one of my favorite games of all time since I got to play with a lot of my family including my mom.

Considering the current world situation, a good purging could be in order.
Look, I *_love_* this channel, loved it for about 3 years (give or take). But the fact that they've made dozens of videos for each of the most popular series' out there (any of Nintendo's, SEGA's, Valve's, etc), and have neglected games that they either only gave 1 or 2 videos to (or haven't even covered yet) tells me that this channel only cares about raking in views and money instead of elaborating on a wide range of video game history. Nobody wants to hear about World 1-1 or Fallout 2's pop-culture references for the 10th time

It needed stuff like that it was reading the disk faster than the drive was intended, and actually loading stuff into memory as you progressed through the level, as the PlayStation had very little memory to work with.
And the vector animation they used meant they had to give up on textures, so they just stuck with gradients.
