- Hi everyone, I had hoped that stage 10 would be the final stage but I'm just about to start stage 11. One reason being I ended up re-doing the whole area around the oil cooler after realising that the RAF version had clam style doors and not a front access panel that the Trumpeter kit has. This resulted in filling, sanding and re-painting the whole area again taking all day Saturday to fix. My bad!

This is the most incredible chinook I have ever seen! Your skills in every aspect of modeling is just incredible..paint, details, decals,weathering.....just incredible!
This model is huge! It must feel very satisfying to hold that fuselage in your hand. BTW I'm enjoying your build so much that I'm watching it for the second time now...
Most incredible builds ! Have seen many aircraft from you And enjoyed all. Tks
Thank you

These videos are absolutely brilliant .please keep them up I've really really enjoyed watching this cant wait for the final part 👍👍👍👍👍
Bet that rear walkway would've looked fine with the yellow edge bud. You've definitely got the skills to nail that. Looks awesome so far.
I enjoyed the masking great tips again Greg the oils came out treat too . Regards Gav.
Cheers Gav
Gorgeous. Respect.
Brilliant
👍 one to go 👍
I looked at your scheme on my pc. Really good job on the paint scheme. One question, the black areas are walkways for maintenance and crewcheifs? Shouldn't they have a non slip type coverage on them? Just curious.
They were indeed on the HC1 a typical anti slip sandpaper like finish. They also had a red diagonal dashed line outside of the yellow border, and If memory serves, there was no large black walkway on the fwd rotor pylon roof. However, since this is possibly representing a later, maybe HC2 model who knows.
Sorry account is under my wife’s name. Kevin
Personally i find this all dragging on a bit now Greg, will you release a condensed video of this awesome build in the future?
Not anytime soon.
Your modelling skills are beyond reproach m8 no slight intended
