Any reason not to replace the hoses? Wondering if I should do those while I'm in there and have the pump out

How did you guys bleed it? I did everything you guys did but my new pump foams. No matter how much I turn the wheel while it's off

When we did it, we filled the reservoir to the line on the dip stick. Then left the cap off, and started the engine. Then turned the steering wheel all the way to the left, and all the way to the right multiple times (slowly) until there was no more bubbles in the reservoir. It helps to have two people so somebody can watch the reservoir, and somebody can turn the steering wheel. You'll have to keep adding ATF to the reservoir as the air comes out. Just try not to over fill it. You'll probably want a catch pan underneath the car just to be safe, cause it can make a mess if it bubbles over the reservoir. I don't know if this is the proper way to do it, but it worked for us.
