    I really like that alternative chord shape for the shuffle part. Sure beats the big stretch. I was also able to use it to duplicate the part where the pinky extends out an additional half step by using my first finger. Me and my sore elbow really thank you!

    Greg, fantastic lesson on a great song. The "essential to the sound" upstroke on the main riff knocks my rhythm off and I notice that Billy Gibbons doesn't use an upstroke live. I would play it whatever way is most natural sounding. Thanks again for your sharing this awesome video!

    Thanks for the alternative finger placement. There was no way my pinky was making it to the 8th fret. I'm 2 years into playing and I was like "Well, now what?". Thanks again.

    Great job mate, definitely going to use the cheat on the G & C for the shuffle rhythm with muted string. Cant believe I haven't seen that before. G is a great blues key but is always a stretch playing it the other way. Cheers

    Very nice lesson on this song, through, clear, accurate! Thanks for offering a shuffle that can be done with small hands, no way I m making that 5 fret stretch. I also play a version in open G tuning, where it can be done with the the low E string remaining as an E, tuned down to D or (almost, really) simply eliminated al la Keith Richards. Shuffle is easy in open G--just ask Keith!

    • @GregoryEvansMusic
      @GregoryEvansMusic  Před 4 lety

      That is a picture of a little country store that is the last place that Hank Williams Senior was last seen alive. His driver went into the store to buy beer, when he came back out Hank was dead. I don’t know what bambinos is.

    • @GregoryEvansMusic

      I have a playlist on my channel of easy guitar songs, try playing along with those. Some other good resources where you live are possibly a local music store that offers lessons. Another idea is community college, sometimes they offer extended education classes like group guitar lessons. In my town I teach group lessons through the college.

    A. Where’s the slide to the G. B. You don’t have to use the thumb, you can use the index. C. The rest of the song is just incorrect. Unless you just dumb it all down.
