The refs let them Back in the game. That second penalty kick was absolutely redick!! If I was a west ham player I would wait until the other player started to kick the ball, then I would just stick my leg out and get hit on purpose, so that way I would be gifted non- stop penalty shots. I would keep doing it until they stopped calling it, cause there’s no way that should have been called.

Moyes putting Paqueta up was awful, he was pulling strings in the midfield. Moyes thought he could hold on for 50 mins away v us, playing down the hill.
Changing the game plan and bringing on Phillips was our downfall!!!

Even phillips looked at Antonio as he was substituted and had an embarrassing and apologetic look on his face.
Was no way a penalty, but sometimes it goes that way in football. The real issue is the classic - Moyes decided to pack up shop and put on the handbreak. Antonio was great, so substituting him for a very out of form defensive midfielder is absolutely wild. This is why the fans want him gone. Very poor result and I feel for the team.

Newcastle fan here. 2nd penalty wasn't a penalty but you see them given. Your 2nd goal shouldn't have been allowed either though as it was taken before the ref blew and checked if Schar was ok but he carried on and the goal was given. Swings and roundabouts. Great game. Good singing and banter from both fans at different times of the game. Stand up if you're 4-3 up.

@happyhammerette9083 the ref can't assume he is not.... a head injury always represents a stop in play. He may have recovered from the knock but I don't think anyone can say he wasn't genuinely injured.... poor refereeing all around.

But I'm sure you'd be unhappy if that was your player and the ref did that... instead of being pissed with the ref or Newcastle, I strongly urge you to point the finger at Mr. Moyes. Took off your biggest threat and put paqueta further up when paqueta and guimares was having such a good midfield tussle. After that, Newcastle bossed midfield.
