Back then Volvo was a very simple car,with simple or limited options, but in 1972, is when they came with more options, like A/C interiors, now they would have vynil, leather, power steering,trim packages, rims or mag wheels, fog lights

My parents had a 1972 4 dr. it lasted till 1983 by then it was all rusted out. The u-joint broke on the drive shaft as my mom was returning home, and hit the bump at the bottom of the drive way.

I wish I could say that I've owned or driven a Volvo. Unfortunately I've not. I've seen plenty of this vintage, and I've ridden in a couple as a passenger. But I've never driven one.

as much as i love the 140s, 164s and 1800 (own at least 1 of all 3) and 72 is my favourite year, this ad film is truly awful. i cringed through pretty much all of it.
