At first I thought they'd ship Kara and Mon-El like in the TV series but then they went and did a JLU shipping her with Brainy. Not that it matters, what matters is why would they make Mon-El a villain? Also, for those who think Superman and Batman died, they didn't. They were beamed to Warworld. Can't wait for the upcoming Warworld movie.
I watched this movie through soap2day as well. I love the dynamic between supergirl and brainy it gave me enemies to lovers vibes and love that I got to see them together since JLU. The supporting characters were pretty good. I didn’t like that they made Mon El the villain. Am I the only one who thought Timberwolf looked like Wolverine or was that just me?
I noticed that he looked like Wolverine, too, which I DIDN'T like, because I liked his character design in comics I read in my youth. A Wolverine knockoff is unappealing.
Yeah I like this movie too. It ain’t a perfect movie and there’s still plenty of flaws but it was honestly a little better than beware my power because that movie fell flat in a lot of ways. The plot was consistent, the characters were interesting enough, and Kara is actually done pretty well in the movie considering it’s been a while since we’ve seen her in some thing animated. I really missed the Brainy and Kara relationship since I saw it the JLU and comics so I’m definitely glad they brought that back. Although like most people I do not like Mon-El being the bad guy that was just no. And yeah CW does ruin pretty much everything.
They still can’t get out of making kryptonian like characters villains. It’s so predictable. Why make Mon el a villain when he’s a key member of the team
Why wasn't Mon El able to show any of his abilities??? He's has the same abilities as a Kryptonian!! First time in animation and you make him a Villain and a Scrub!! I'm scared to think what they're going to do with Superboy Prime😩
While Daxamites have the same powers/abilities as Kryptonians, they are generally considered slightly weaker. Also they have a different weakness. Kryptonians are vulnerable to Kryptonite, Daxamites are vulnerable to LEAD! But yeah, I hated seeing Mon-El being used as a villain, totally ignoring both the comics and tv.
What I dont get is why they make Mon-El the bad guys. Oh wait its a recurring theme make the white guy the dumb and evil villain, then make sure to include diversity to the theme and ignore comic book material.
So they ignored the character of Mon-El from the comic book continuity, then.

I was thinking closer to Wolverine in attitude. After all, Timberwolf IS a hero, but I remember him being a bit more clean cut.

I liked the movie, made me laugh a lot. But the superman and batman ending was weird tbh.
