At first I laughed pretty hard at this, then I remembered she can look into the future. So she probably knows not to press the wrong button. Good joke, none-the-less.
for some reason i always played this game around november and december as a kid, and the soundtrack to this game registers as christmas music in my brain now.
Ha, same here. Me and my older brother got this game the day after Thanksgiving in 04. The next day, my family and I went to chop down our Christmas tree and so this game always reminds me of the holiday season.
Fell in love with this one the second I dragged my haunches into Greatwood. It is truly a masterpiece. My favorite video game tune since Original StarCraft!!
This music helps me write and get into the atmosphere I want to create. If it weren't for you, I'd probably have an Xbox set up beside me with the game playing just to hear the music.
+Shrek Fanboy Thanks for the support! Right now I'm in the process of reinstalling Windows 10 (It just corrupted itself), so it might be a while until I can get to it. But I will keep that in mind! 😃
If you do take requests, I would have to ask for Fable II's Bowerstone Olde Town, that one is amazing for writing to and it would be nice to have a one hour version. But thank you for this, this is great! The soundtrack to this game is legendary.
I over played this game so much. Even created my own little mysteries to try and solve from the games lore. Like that ghost town right outside the boss room you fight dragon jack of blades. Exploring every nook and cranny trying to discover something new or solve what I believed to be hard to solve mysteries and stories, like the old kingdom and whatnot. Something about fable and lost chapters just really gripped me. Wanted to play Fable 2 but never had a 360.
I feel like listening to this on repeat should annoy me... it has a lot of charactertistics of a song that would get stuck in your head and drive you crazy... but for some reason I can't stop listening to it!
This is weirdly good. I remember there was a version of this number some probably +10 years ago now, in a web demo. The demo was very small and made in a sort of short CYOA visual novel style meant to introduce you to the world of Fable, and as I remember it, that version of the song was even spookier. So much so that my buddy that was napping next to me got nightmares from it (which may or may not have been why I chose to play the demo right then ;) ). Regrettably the demo was taken down, and I never found that version of the song again.
That sounds like your referring to the Fable flash game web.archive.org/web/20051102025954/fable.lionhead.com/fable.html Flash is no longer supported unfortunately. So you'll probably need a work around.
@@TheFableHistorian Oh yeah, that's it. You even got a great video on it, lol. That's awesome. Thanks for that. Wow, I didn't realize how old it was. I did manage to work around the flash issue, but I had to find a different site with the game because for some reason the music wouldn't play in the Way Back Machine version. The music quality seems to be lower in the other version that I found, but I'll take it.
@@Pat4ever. Well it's a little tricky. I don't know if I wanna upload a video on it - not that I know how to do that anyway, but also you can only hear it through the old flash game, and Flash was discontinued. You can try to find a video of the game being played on youtube and hear the melody from that though, like in this video: czcams.com/video/2f37FaDdGg4/video.html Or alternatively you can try to find a copy of Flash to play the game with, but it's been a while and I think I remember reading that I had to get a special version of Flash to get it to work. The version that I ended up with is called flashplayer_32_sa_debug.exe. It doesn't seem to be available on Adobe's website anymore. If you do manage to find a working copy, the old Flash game is still available, and you can simply open this link: www.fablegame.info/torionel_files/game1/fable.swf through the Flash player.
At greatWood Gorge I have paid the bandit toll so I can go to the boss and insult him and flip him off to the point where he get so angry the bandit entire group starts attacking me
I have came to learn that Avo actually uses the money you donate to him for sluts and beer. Therefore Skorm while not morally good is the better option as he rewards you with a sick bow while Avo gives you a big, clunky, mace. The only real good thing Avo gives is age reduction but to get that you need to spend MORE gold to fuel his slut buying addiction. He also buys beer for his priests and gets them drunk and is not good. Beer make you fat and sluts give STD. Or maybe just choose neither I mean they are both pretty much fake.
