I actually think her hands disappearing is kind of a cool element. You have to look for them and it gives a trickster vibe when you can’t immediately see what she’s doing. Like she could be holding a perfectly normal conversation but at the same time shes also stealing your watch and replacing it with an acorn on a string.
I love these unintentional “flaws” that end up adding so much depth to the character and often work out better than if they had been planned.
I thought the same!! The "disappearing" hands are perfect for a sneaky fairy, nobody will notice when she is stealing something 🤭

I thought the same bc (I think) butterflies tend to match their surroundings for like survival reasons so I thought that it would make sense for fairies to do the same thing!!

As a rat owner, I absolutely love the rat tail! I can also imagine her with a couple of ratty mannerisms, like constructing little nests out of autumn leaves everywhere and constantly bothering other forest critters when she gets bored! :D
she probably has a cute little rat or some sort of rodent sidekick!! maybe a squirrel
I really like that the hands blend in with the other outfit aspects, it gives the illusion that she could be hiding in plain sight, and just blending in with the background so u can’t find her.

I feel that her gradient hands fit her well tho. You can't tell were they are, makes it easier for her to snatch things without being noticed. Her mischief being carried out with everyone being non the wiser.

I think the difference between classic and cliché depends on how much heart you put into something, and this classic autumn doll definitely shows how much love you put into all of your projects. I love her so much 💛

My comment was meant as something that I think would be cool to see if I or someone else chose to make a version of this doll. Katherine is in no way obligated to do this or take it as a critique.

I love her face. That tilt in her eyes and the slant on her brows, fantastic!!! The hands are perfect with the gold nails. It's great that they fade at times, makes her feel mysterious.
she's so lovely, the simplicity of the corset with the rest of her outfit is gorgeous! and Dadlightful asking "You okay?" after she yelps while drilling has me crying

I really like the gradient on her arms. Yeah, it sucks that it gets lost in the rest of her outfit, but it adds this feeling that Maple herself is slowly changing colors as the seasons change.

I think her hands came out great! They give the effect that the actual color of her body is shifting like the leaves. And her expression is just fabulous.

I used to have 2 parakeets and one just passed away his name was sunshine it would mean a lot if you made it bright yellow and green and if you do consider this doll
I adore this doll! I honestly like that her hands kinda camouflage into her outfit, like she’s hiding the trees waiting play tricks! That, her sly expression, and the “rat tail” really make her unique and helps round out this fairy family!
i think her hands disappearing against herself makes her seem more sneaky and sly, like a fox disappearing against a fall background. shes camouflaging herself so she can steal acorns and fall berries.
The hands fading into the outfit looks cool! Pixies and sprites are known to be very good at hiding or even turning invisible so the hands look like they're beginning to fade into the leaves
I feel like the "Dollightful charm" really shines through in this doll! her eyes and general expression give her so much character and her leaf skirt and wings are absolutely gorgeous! 🍁🍂🧚🏼♀
I love this doll the face up on her is just so stunning, since the base was ashlyn it reminds me of when she went evil and started destroying nature but with a fairy twist

I love her, her mischievous gaze makes her seem like shes out playing pranks during the other seasons making her backgrounds appropriate. Also I kinda like her hands having a stealthness to them, making slight of hand easier
I love how unique she is from the other fairies! I love the butterfly elements and expression you gave her, I can't say I'm a huge fan of the tail since it feels more like a doll from the dragon series with the addition of it. She's a beautiful work of art regardless!
Honestly, I like it. Gives off more of a classic trickster fae vibe, which fits the character more.
Fairies in mythology are more than just a set of wings, yaknow? There are so many different directions you can go with them (and honestly, wings are even necessary), so the tail is a fun addition that lets her lean away from Tinkerbell-esque and closer to Evil Fae Who Will Trick You Into Giving Your Life Away

I love that all the fairy dolls have different expressions. Iggy is shy, as spring can sometimes be slow to come after a long winter. Amanita is bright and cheerful, ready for adventure and excitement. Maple is sly and tricky, ready for the mischief of Halloween and ready to switch up the weather without warning. And Eryi is stern and slightly harsh looking, but with a slight brightness like sunlight glinting off the snow.

I love this so much, and really hope to see more 'asymmetrical' or interestingly expressional dolls on your channel. I think it's the final touch that adds a lot of character to an already brilliant work (because of the limitations of a face sculpt, being unique with faces can be a bit tricky, I assume, but it really makes things look so cool!)
