I like how instead of choosing a random doll from the box, you take in what you’re trying to make and how their body should be built. That’s something I like about this channel that I think makes it different from the others.

I think it's very fitting that Aquarien is larger than everyone else because the ocean covers about 70% of the earth's surface, and as katherine said herself, creatures can grow to incredibly large sizes in the ocean. Also i absolutely love this doll and they make my little nonbinary heart very happy!

It makes perfect sense that the sea dragon would be androgynous. Animals in the sea or water in general can change sex in certain situations. Fish are complicated when it comes to that. And the fact that this character is supposed to be mysterious.

I love that she doesn't make just male and female dolls. It's really refreshing to see characters that are just androgynous. As a character artist, you don't always want male or female. Sometimes, you want something in between, or both, or even something non-human.

i’ve seen this video so many times, it’s my favorite among the dragon dolls. it’s just so oddly comforting and the dragon themself is just beautiful. water has always been comforting to me and this character is the most original embodiment of a water creature i’ve seen in a doll. i absolutely love it
this doll is everything to me. easily one of my absolute favorites. genderless, beautiful and they use the same pronouns as me. i got emotional watching this i felt so deeply for this doll. such incredible work that really really speaks to me

Like how do you go from a plain muscular blonde doll to a beautiful, unique, gender neutral, lanky and tall, pastel rainbow tie die sea creature with a tail that bigger that the said doll itself???
Like I cannot fathom the amount of detail that you have put into this one doll. From making custom limbs to full ball joint creation with extra articulated joints and the details like the little fabric flippers between the fingers to the giant tail and articulated ears, not to forget that she went the extra mile and painted watered down paints on the tail just to match the doll, I think it's safe to say that this woman obviously deserves alot more recognition.
I could totally make a fanfic about the shenanigans the dragons get up too! I love Aquarian, my playful, mysterious enby dragon 💛🤍💜🖤

this is still my favorite dragon of the series. Aquarian is so unique, and I'm in love with the bright colors and inhuman body shape. I also love how they're the most inhuman of the group (maybe it's the fins, maybe the colors, or maybe the lack of hair lol), truely giving "creature" haha

When I first watched this 2 years ago I didn’t even realize that this dragon was enby until I read the comments just now and realized they are! And that makes me so happy to see representation in dolls especially since I’m an enby myself :)

this is probably my favorite doll you’ve ever done, Aquarien is simply so gorgeous and their movements flow together so well. I also love how you made them an androgynous doll. they are so perfect and I can’t help but want to play around with them like I used to play with my mermaid dolls!

i love how she creates dolls that show things that are almost taboo in our society in such a natural and accepting way, in this case, a nonbinary doll, and with terra, a doll with a larger body type, and it just makes me love this channel so much more.
An interesting and probably unintentional feature;
The distribution of the colours suggests a gynandromorph (spelling?). A bilateral chimera of male and female. The bright pinks of a very fancy fellow and the cool greens of a mysterious lady.

My grandma passed away when I was 6. She was an artist also and she was blind from the age 35 to 74. Which was when she passed. She made a duplicate of every painting she made, and both sides of the family have each one she made. 🖤🌸🖤

the more -mutilated- artistically changed she makes a doll, the closer she is to making a completely from scratch doll.
At this point the doll is just a rough skeleton layer. She could work with dried wooden sticks just as well I think. Making a head from scratch is incredibly hard and not really worth the effort.

I can't say I agree with the color palette choice (i was a huge fan of the vibrant blue and orange, but the final result is gorgeous too), but I am absolutely in love with how wiggly and flexible they are. That and the suckers make them seem like some kind of cephalopod. Truly a formidable predator of the deep!

I’ve actually noticed that during the video you labeled Aquarien as “they” and not “he” or “she”. And I respect that, the fact that Aquarien doesn’t have a straightforward gender makes me love their character even more

I like how the SEA dragon is gender non-conforming/non-binary/gender FLUID. Their very wavy and long body and element matches it's gender identity and they/them pronouns. I especially like to think they're genderFLUID for no obvious reason 😏
But in all seriousness, I saw a comment about Aquarien being able to change colors like an octopus or cuttlefish. This is an amazing head cannon and fits well with Aquarien. They can perhaps sport more masculine colors one day, or be more feminine the other. And sometimes they can be a big beautiful rainbow of gender non conformingnes or gay, or maybe somedays they dissapear into the environment and do not want to be perceived at all!

Every once and a while I get frustrated that I haven’t been able to watch a new video of yours in a while. And then you make a new one and I remember how hard you work on these dolls and how much effort you put into each and every one. And why it takes so long to make. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s a reason you’re my favorite doll artist. And it’s because some how you manage to make each and every doll better then the last. Keep doing what you’re doing and being your amazing talented self. This doll is stunning.

Honestly with the quality, love, & effort that she's putting into these dolls she's pumping them out pretty quick! In my opinion would probably take me a few months to get a doll of that quality done. ((Then again she's more used to making dolls than me, and my skill level would have to increase quite a bit before I could get started for reals )) Regardless she still does pop these out rather quickly for how hard she works on em.
The fact that dollightfulls cat can almost always be seen just lounging on her work desk is absolutely adorable

I never make dolls step-by-step the same from tutorials, it’s more fun to make original characters. But the tutorial-like standpoint is very helpful when you’re making something similar, the harder parts are made more simple for you ^^
